Located in Sedgwick, this lovely condo for $208 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Newly remodeled, second floor, one bedroom apartment located in the heart of historic Blue Hill and Downeast Maine. This gorgeous apartment sleeps 2, has a gas fireplace,new bamboo, cork, tile, and carpeted floors, free wireless Internet and flat screen HD cable TV and a private balcony overlooking the back gardens, grapevines, and forest. Enjoy looking at the stars or waking with the sun on your Queen size bed under the sky light. You are just a short walk from beautiful Blue Hill Village, with its many shops, restaurants, galleries, beaches, town park, and hiking trails. Blue Hill is centrally located between Acadia National Park/ Bar Harbor, Stonington/Deer Isle, Ellsworth and Bangor. Enjoy cooking in your fully equipped gourmet’s kitchen or join us at one of our 2 on site restaurants: The Arborvine, with award winning fine dining; or DeepWater Brew Pub, a casual brew pub serving our very own Micro-brewed Beer and freshly made pub fare with indoor & outdoor seating. We are unable to accommodate Pets and are a Non-Smoking Campus (both inside and outside of the apartment).

We loved the convenient location in town close to our kids over the Christmas holidays. It was a perfect setup for babysitting our infant grand daughter, cooking meals for our gang, exploring around town and walking on the local trails.
A bonus was a very special dinner at Arborvine when we arrived!

The website did not disclose that the property was not accessible for the mobility impaired. The apartment was selected because it had a walk-in shower, but it had a steep staircase to the living space with no toilet upstairs. The incongruity was not disclosed. My 86-year-old husband, who has Parkinsonism, coped, with difficulty. The configuration should be disclosed prominently on its web description.
The apartment, itself, was beautiful and well furnished. The electric fireplace was a delight during Tropical Storm Lee. It would be perfect for someone young and agile.

Apartment was excellent. Cozy, extra clean and well furnished. It was close enough to everything. Everything was well explained in the little booklet that the owners left. Appreciated the easy to use TV. Sometimes you go to a place and there’s 5 remotes and you need to work everything in a certain order to make it work. Really wanted to try the restaurant just did not realize it was not open on Sunday when we had time available. The only thing I would point out as a tip for some travelers is that the restroom is downstairs. This was fine with us but I can imagine someone getting up late at night and having to go down a set of stairs.

My parents stayed for 3 nights, the bed was incredibly comfortable, kitchen had anything we could need, clean and nicely decorated. Perfect place to stay in blue hill, maine where all can be walked to from the apartment.

I stayed at three places in Blue Hill during my vacation. Arborvine had no view of the water nor historic importance. Even so, it was the nicest and the most enjoyable place I stayed. Easy to do everything. Modern, well appointed, nicely furnished.

The property didn’t disappoint! Exactly as described. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our visit to Maine. It was a great place to come back to at the end of each day of sightseeing and start again each morning. Extremely clean and neat. Thanks so much for everything! A special thank you to Michelle at the Arborvine for going out of her way with a special request…she went above and beyond.

The apartment was exactly as advertised and bigger than I expected. It was very cute and clean. It had everything we needed. It was about a 45 minute drive to Acadia through really charming coastal towns and nice to come back to the quiet town of Blue Hill.
The only disappointment was the brewery next door was closed (I think just for the season). This was minor and we had a number of other wonderful walkable options.
I recommend this highly!

This is a perfect getaway for a couple. Quiet and clean. Everything you could need is there. Hosts are very attentive and make sure you are satisfied with your stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

The apartment at Arborvine is a gem - cozy, spotless, nicely decorated and in a great location. We spent a wonderful winter weekend there enjoying the gas wood burning stove while it sleeted outside. The kitchen is fully equipped although we didn’t cook - enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant and did take out from the local Co-op. In summer the small patio would be lovely with coffee or a glass of wine. The bathroom is downstairs from the rest of the rooms but we did not find that a problem at all. Very private and cozy. John was very quick to respond to questions and with general information. Highly recommend this spot - we hope to come back again soon!

Our one suggestion would be to update the written instructions provided in the apartment, especially as they relate to the heating system. Also, there is a new door lock system that requires a code. Nothing in the pre-arrival message that we received from VRBO described this code access. In fact, the pre-arrival message said the door would be unlocked and the keys would be inside., Fortunately, the owners were on site when we arrived, and were able to fully welcome us to the apartment. If they had not been there, we would not have had the correct instructions to get in. Also, although there is a TV available, we had problems accessing any current or local news, or even signing into our Roku apps due to ”memory capacity issues”.
Overall, this is a great place to stay, and we hope to return on our next trip.

This place is awesome. Clean and very quiet setting.The only draw back is the only bathroom is on the bottom floor. The rest of the apartment is upstairs.

We loved this apartment. Perfect for the two of us. Made our stay in that part of Maine even more enjoyable. I had made a mistake in the number of days for my reservation. I emailed John and he immediately changed the reservation to accommodate the extra day I needed. Very pleased with the experience.
