Just wonderful. Ruth and her husband are fabulous hosts and go out of their way for their guests. I travelled on my own and was made to feel so welcome. Forge bar is so lovely, cosey and welcoming also. The breakfast was beautiful ,i had fresh fruit with yoghurt followed by a delicious hot irish breakfast with irish sausage, bacon, white pudding, black pudding, mushrooms and tomato, served with a selection of irish bread and toast with fresh butter, washed down with fresh juice and a pot of fresh coffee. The room i stayed in had a really traditional feel and a really comfortable bed with white linen bedding. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with this accomadation and i would absolutley highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay i will be coming back with my family to continue our search for information on our ancestors 🙏

When we turned up I have to admit I was slightly worried as it does look a bit run down. But we had the best stay. The owners are fabulous, The Forge Pub is amazing and the food was great. It is like stepping back in time, it reminds me of places I used to stay with my parents back in the 80’s. Breakfast was really good, yummy pancakes! If we return to Ireland we will definitely come back!
The only criticism was there was quite a lot of dog poo in the carpark. My father in law did step in some. But the dogs are lovely that live there!

The owners are just fantastic people, we have stayed before and it was excellent. They can’t do enough to make your stay better, the breakfast is freshly cooked the breakfast spread is top class you have everything you could possibly want. Can’t say enough about ballyglass only that we will be back
