Exceptional
Our stay at Raleigh was excellent. Our Unit was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The queen bed was cozy. The view is amazing overlooking the Ha Ha Bay. The only thing that I have to say is that the ceiling fan would only work if the light was on. On those nights when it was hot it would have been nice to have that ceiling fan on.

Nice spot in Raleigh
The location was great, we liked the sitting area by the shoreline. Well equipped room, comfortable and attractive.
It was a little tight for three people - we used the sofa bed for our adult daughter. Our group of five was split into two locations, and we would have all preferred to be in the same building.

Quiet facility close to Burnt Cove Reserve and easy drive to L
Room seemed almost like new. Shiny, well-equipped kitchen with very up-to-date appliances. Nice place to sit across the road on the water.
Would have liked more sound-proofing from other room.

We’ll be back!
This is a gorgeous setting - Adirondack chairs along the water, barbecues in every unit, beautiful cabins etc Our cabin was lovely - cozy, very clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and conveniently supplied.(kitchen unit was amazing) Very comfortable bed Large bathroom and great shower Owners were very friendly and helpful in eg fixing the TV ( it was not working the first night we arrived) Gorgeous gift shop with amazing local soapstone art!!
Not a property issue per se, but the road into Raleigh is pretty bad and desperately in need of paving! Otherwise, a lovely spot

Relaxing and interesting
The suite was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and fresh and there was extra bedding and linens available. We were a short drive from L'anse aux Meadows. The village was quaint and picturesque.
There was absolutely nothing available to eat in the village. There is a small convenience store that is rarely open and was not while we were there. Get your supplies in St. Anthony prior to arrival or it will be a 27km trip one way for a meal or provisions. St. Anthony has everything you will need.

Not perfect but I'd stay again if I get a chance to visit this beautiful part of the world
This property is very clean with a nice big bathroom. The location is great! Not far from L'Anse aux Meadows, minutes from the amazing Burnt Cape, and right across the road from the shore where there is a fire pit well stocked with wood, where we had two excellent nights round a roaring fire.
The beds in the room were pretty uncomfortable. The room was also odd because, although there was a gas BBQ available, there was nothing like a kitchenette to prepare even a simple meal. If you wanted to grill something, there's no counter space in the room to prepare, no sink apart from the bathroom for washing dishes. That said, the best food we had on our two week trip to Newfoundland was about half an hour's drive away at The Daily Catch. We went both nights we stayed in Raleigh.

We would stay at the Raleigh rooms again.
The suite was located right on the water with a firepit on the waters edge. It was very clean. The suite had been recently built and everything was new. The host, Kimberly was nearby and answered all questions. She was so friendly and provided answers to every question and provided us with great suggestions on where to eat and what to see. The suite had everything we needed and the pots and pans were not worn. There was lots of room to park our car. We highly recommend staying there.
The roads to the suite were full of potholes so made driving annoying.

Beautiful and rugged
Kimberly the host was so helpful, accommodating, informative and just really nice to be around. I love that the property was by the water and despite the rainy weather we saw peaks of sunsets. In the morning I enjoyed looking out my bedroom window as the sun rose. I was in room 3 beside the office. The roads are potholy but manageable so we could get to L’Anse aux Meadows, Norstead and a trip to St. Anthony to learn more about Dr. Grenfell (incredible and influential person to the area)
Wifi is intermittent at best.
