Hills Farm B&B Laugharne

I liked the welcome of Jackie, she's old school, take me as you find me and friendly.

I fell in the garden down a bank into the stream head first through nettles. I was stung all down my face and body, wet from landing in the stream and badly shaken. I staggered back into the house and Jackie offered me some paracetamol and said I'll put the heating on go and lie down, that's about all the sympathy you'll get!! I didn't realise I was in shock until I started shaking in bed. And although the nettle stings were excruciating the pain in my back, arms shoulders came on with avengance over the next few days. I think the host should have a duty of care of their.guests. After breakfast Jackie did rummage through an outdated first aid kit and gave me an antihistamine for the stings. She was so nice otherwise and we had hugs on my departure but a little more care is necessary.

Great Breakfast.. Comfortable facilitgies .

Such a delightful location, peaceful and attractive surroundings close to Laugharne castle and the charming village. A wonderfully friendly host who gave us a breakfast full of variety, freshness and enough to last the day through.

Exceptional host Wonderful location. Comfortable bed.

It was a little tired in places, a lick of paint here and there wouldn’t go amiss and maybe some new bedding but it didn’t affect my stay at all.
