Another fabulous stay at Penbryn. I love it more with each visit and on this occasion booked Penbryn 2 for my daughter to accompany me on my trip to Barmouth. Both cottages are well thought out for the comfort of guests and the owner has considered everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The cottages are very cosy and the mattresses and sofas are good quality and really comfortable, (always a concern for me with a sensitive back). All facilities are in place for a really comfortable stay, whatever the weather, and the cottages are central to Barmouth with a choice of places to eat in easy walking distance. The location affords great views of the estuary and Barmouth Bridge, whilst ensuring peace and quiet due to being elevated above the town. Barmouth is very central as a base to explore west Wales but for me it's a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, so once parked up, that's it. The parking permit is a great bonus. Thanks once again to Steven for another wonderful stay and for allowing our dogs to accompany us.

Beautiful views, comfortable bed. Lovely cosy apartment. The milk and lovely chocolates were very appreciated. Will love to stay again and recommend to others.

Cosy and well kept. Property was as advertised and great location in Barmouth only a short walk from everything and provided us with a cosy base to enjoy the area.
Nothing really not to like, it is a small cottage and we knew what we were getting. Just pay attention to the description of the location and stairs as they are as advertised and no joke.

Well presented and clean. Compact but Contained everything for a few days stay.
Car park was some distance away but saved us a fortune in Barmouth parking fees!
Great views once we had traversed the steps!
Steve was available to answer any questions by phone.
Let down a little by minor things like
No bathroom plug
Plastic bed lamps
No shaving mirror
The seating area outside was rather unloved and detracted a little from the views.
A great pity was the fact that we were both attacked by seagulls on the steps protecting their young😳
