The Byron was perfectly situated in old town Dubrovnik, walkable to everything.
With very few steps compared to most hotels we looked at.
Check-in couldn’t have been easier, everybody is so kind.
We’re able to even get into our room a little bit early.
The room was so beautiful with everything you could possibly need even with coffee every morning, which we were able to make for ourselves.
Our favorite part was a swimming pool😉
right up the way.

The room was great! Perfect location and had everything we needed; really felt like home there. The room was spacious, clean, perfectly decorated, and had great air conditioning. Even had a swimming hole nearby. Couldn’t ask for more.
This is something the owner can’t control so not a complaint just something for others to be aware of. Small price to pay for staying in the city walls. If you are looking for complete quiet the drawing room is a bit noisy. There is a restaurant very close and the workers like to take their breaks on the steps leading to the room, so it is usually a bit noisy as they are a bit boisterous until about 11:00pm or 11:30pm and then again in early morning as deliveries are made to the restaurant.

The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the old city, a short walk from anything. The building and rooms are super charming, while roomy and comfortable.

The Byron's location within the city walls is private and quiet while being at the heart of everything. To say the property is gorgeous is an understatement .. it's absolutely magical. Beautifully appointed, lovely mix of new and old (for example, armoires hide a microwave, refrigerator, cooktop and electric kettle), with excellent water pressure in the shower and the most comfortable beds--linen sheets, down pillows and comforters. Exquisite! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again and again. Jon and Jay are lovely, attentive, communicative hosts.
We loved everything about the property and our stay.
