The room was right in the centre of Dubrovnik, and was very large and decorated well, modern and well appointed. The bathroom was lovely and the shower excellent. There was a small kitchen if you wanted to make anything. The staff were lovely and breakfast was fabulous, and delivered to our room (although that is a walk from the main reception so hot food was cold).
There was cobwebs. The room we had was directly on the street and had virtually no natural light. It had one small window that had to be permanently closed otherwise passers buy could see in. Although it was up from the main street there was noise and people hanging out directly outside where you sleep, sitting on the steps.
The bed was too soft which left us both with a bad back.

The location is very central, which is a plus, but it can also be quite noisy.
The breakfast was good, but you have to order it the day before and you’re only given one small cup or tea or coffee
Be very careful when booking to check which room you’re actually getting. Based on the photos, we thought we had booked the room with the balcony, but instead we were given a very dark, damp room. We noticed the damp smell as soon as we arrived, and throughout our stay our clothes felt damp as well.
There was no coffee machine, toaster or ironing facilities, despite these being listed as amenities. We were provided with just two fruit tea bags and some cheap sachet coffee, some bottled water would have been a nice touch.
