Lovely little reset out in nature :)

Very clean property and the accommodation was so comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and communal area. Delicious breakfast and staff were great.

30 minute walk from the centre of Moalboal but would be much faster with a bike. As we are out in nature there are lots of animal noises such as stray dogs barking through the night.

Fijne accommodatie

Een fijne plek net buiten het centrum. Het ligt op een heuvel en is heel mooi en sfeervol aangelegd. De huisjes en buitenbadkamer zijn fijn en het ontbijt is heerlijk. Er zijn maar een paar huisjes dus er heerst een relaxte sfeer.

Veel geluidsoverlast van muziek uit de omgeving (en de hanen). Ook was de douche afwisselend warm en koud en niet zo’n sterke straal. Dat was alles.

Beste Unterkunft auf den Philippinen

Es war unglaublich. Wir lieben es in mitten der Natur zu schlafen. Eine Dusche unter freiem Himmel, Naturgeräusche zum Einschlafen, was will man mehr. Es gibt in Mitten der Anlage ein Häuschen mit Hängematten und Liegen, wo man die traumhafte Aussicht bei einer Tasse Tee/ Kaffee genießen kann. Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend und wird einem vor seinem eigenen Häuschen auf der Terrasse serviert ( traumhaft). Auch für Mittag bzw. Abendessen wird die Möglichkeit angeboten, dass sie für dich in einem naheliegenden Restaurant bestellen und es zur Unterkunft geliefert wird. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preiswert. Zudem kann man sich sogar Roller direkt von der Unterkunft mieten und Schnorchelausrüstung ausleihen. Zudem werden viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Wir hatten leider nur eine Nacht hier, aber wir werden definitiv nochmal kommen. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Beautiful and relaxing time away from city life :)

We had such a nice stay here! We went for a relaxing time at the beach after exams and this place was so lovely and out of the way, while having everything we needed! From the day we arrived the staff was welcoming and went out of their way to help us, from ordering us dinner after we got there late on the first night (thank you Rosalie!) to giving us free popcorn when we requested to do the movie night they offer, to organising transport whenever we needed it. The cottages themselves aren't really within walking distance of anything but the fact that we could go anywhere by tricycle for around 200 pesos stopped that being a problem. We felt a little bad as we often ended up requesting transport at the last minute after deciding to go places, but the staff were so lovely about it. Our shower wasn't working at one point in the stay but they had a plumber in who fixed it within two hours. We also love animals so we had a great time with the gorgeous and friendly dogs and cat who live on the property. Everything seems meticulously thought out and is both beautiful to look at and relaxing, and we felt safe and well-cared for as two female students travelling alone.

We didn't mind it at all but people who don't like noise at night might want to be aware that there are dogs who sometimes bark throughout the night, and roosters who crow in the early hours. And again we didn't mind at all, but if you don't like frogs they tend to camp out in the shower! For us everything was great :)

Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tongo hills, the staff bend over backwards for us and were such kind people!! The breakfast was amazing and the accommodation was awesome and in a nice location, definitely need to hire a scooter to get around into town though.

Paradise in MoalBoal

Staff were fantastic and really helped us settle into our 2 week holiday across the Philippines. Customer Service was amazing and we felt like millionaires staying here. I unfortunately hurt my knee canyoning and was unable to walk on my return to the cottages in the evening. The staff supported my partner in finding information about the local health care facilities, they provided a bandage to support my knee, regularly checked in with us both and very kindly brought fresh Aloe Vera to wrap around my knee to reduce the swelling. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, compassion and support. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Knee aside our stay here was a lovely way to start our holiday.

There was no store in walking distance, so you had to pay (not much) for some transportation to buy snacks etc.

We loved the look of our room inside and out and it was so lovely to walk up too! The staff was fantastic and greeted us with smiles and were genuine and warm in their greetings to make us feel welcome through out our time there.

I would never rent a place in the Philippines without a/c again! although we did really like our accommodations, it was an uncomfortable sleep with just a fan as it was extremely hot outside. We were looking forward to the movie night under the stars that was mentioned but it was difficult to get any movies uploaded which we tried for over an hour with one of the ladies in charge that night. We did like that we were given a bowl of fresh popcorn though! Just a suggestion that the owner should really invest in some a/c units and dvd player and have some classic movies on hand or figure something out if they want to advertise movie night :) but we did appreciate the effort and we know they just re-opened :)) Really great staff, I hope the owner of the resort really appreciates them and compensates them for how well they treat the guests.

Fantastic stay

We loved it here! Staff is super friendly. Location is really nice. You can rent snorkle gear, they can do your laundry, breakfast was fantastic. Bed is comfortable. Outside shower is really nice. Without aircon you need to adjust for an hour or so (it was the hottest in years when we were there) but it's very doable and definitely worth it. Go here if you're in Moalboal. You'll love it!

We loved our stay - it’s so beautiful here and the staff were amazing!

Such a beautiful place to stay, full of nature and wonderful staff! Nothing is too much for them - even booked us a next day tour at 8pm when we arrived!

We struggled without air conditioning - it’s always hotter than you realise and we weren’t quite prepared for how hot it would be at night. Totally our own fault!

Amazing!

We really love the place,my husband, kids and my mom also loving it! We really enjoy our activities such as volleyball, bone fire, and kids love playing jenga in the big hut. We really love the relaxing ambiance, the fresh air and all the staff are kind and friendly. The shower was great. We definitely come back!

Very beautiful and relaxing little cottages!

These little cottages are lovely. They are a little on the expensive side but they are so worth it if you are looking for somewhere out the way to just relax. They are very clean and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.

If I had to fault it in anyway it would be the breakfast was very small. My boyfriend has the bacon and eggs and there really wasnt much to it. Mine however was delicious..I had the smoothie bowl and banana pancakes! Yum

Wonderfully relaxed!

As soon as we arrived, we were able to switch off and relax straight away (which is not always the case!)! Tongo Hill has a very relaxed vibe, with all of the basic necessities done really well. No request was too difficult and the team were always on hand to help or answer any questions. The outdoor bathroom was fantastic and breakfast was also lovely :)

Our stay was just amazing. Totally surpassed out expectations. Charlie and his family are welcoming, thoughtful hosts, always in good mood and ready to do their best to make you feel great. The location is perfect, perched upon the hill, on the periphery of Moalboal. The surroundings are stunning, palms, views, doggies and newly built bamboo huts offering perfect facilities and everything you need in a stylish exotic facelift. On top of that, Charlie installed a video projector in the social area for us so we could watch the movie in the night, bringing us popcorn and caring of our comfort all the time. Not mentioning the fact that they allowed us to keep our baggage and take a shower after check out time. All appreciated guys. Your making a great job. Fingers crossed.
