Great location for walking and right in the heart of Sedburgh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog felt very welcome too with treats, bed , towel, bowls provided

Rooms have a modern style. Lovely sweeping staircase. Main bar and restaurant are lovely.
Despite modern styling rooms are actually quite basic and not particularly clean or well maintained. Our room had a leaking door to the balcony and a very dusty and wonky main light fittings. Not a great problem, but for the price and advertised premium style of the BB we expected more.
The hallway leading to the room was rather run down with an untidy area with a chair and table that seeemed out of place with a premium hotel.
Check in was a little strange with the barman rather busy with Sunday lunch service and no where obvious to check in.
