Patagonia Jazz Hostel is exactly what you want after long Patagonia travel days: warm, calm, welcoming, and impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, and the common areas have a relaxed, intelligent vibe—social without being noisy or chaotic. The staff genuinely care and are happy to help with logistics or local insight, which makes a real difference down here. It feels less like a hostel and more like a place to land and reset before the next leg of the journey.
If you’re heading through Punta Arenas, this is an easy yes.

I got there early in the morning (before check-in hours) and was allowed to have breakfast that day too! That was a very warm welcome from the staff. The bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is homemade (best budín de pan I've ever had). They've got the friendliest cat.
There wasn't much space to put one's groceries in the kitchen and the fridge was a little messy.
