Nice and calm stay near Arenal Volcano

Nice place for staying a couple of days. It has a bed, sofa, kitchen table and kitchenette, bathroom with all the stuff you may need. For cooling down there are wall fan and AC. What was not comfortable for us that AC is blowing on the bed so we couldn’t use it during the night, but with fan only it was ok. We had some troubles with hot water, but that problem was fixed pretty fast, thanks for that. In description for our room it was info that you’ll have a balcony, and yes you have it, but common with your neighbors. Not a big deal for us, but if someone wants privacy with balcony, you have to share. There is a parking place, so no worries where to park the car. The neighborhood is calm, nice and safe. There are 2 supermarkets not far from by car. The owner is super nice and friendly, she is ready to help you in everything, she also told us a lot about Costa Rica. Overall we recommend this place.

You can actually hear everything going on in the room next door. We heard everything from the alarm clock to the conversations. Take some earplugs if you have sensitive sleep.

Great location and very helpful and friendly staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The host lent me her her hair dryer and a rainmac when it was pouring down. They gave us good advice on where to eat and directions on how to get there. The location was very good

The pillows were a bit lumpy but to be fair we use good quality pillows at home.

Great self catering apartment

Huge apartment a short walk from downtown La Fortuna and a big supermarket too. Lovely friendly hosts, nice kitchen to cook food, comfy beds, amazing view of volcano from window, free parking. wish we had known in advance they had discounts to local tours and hot springs - if you are thinking of going, message them first!

The listing says there is a washing machine but actually this is a paid for service that the hosts will do for you. Not a big deal but if you are on a budget laundry is not cheap in Costa Rica! The laundry service was very quick and great though.

Sans le bruit ça serait parfait

L'acceuil et la gentillesse de Reina et de ses 2 garçons, la chambre claire et propre, la cuisine acceuillante, très bien équipée et propre, terrasse avec vue sur le volcan.

Rue très passante, beaucoup de motocros très bruyants, et plusieurs mais plusieurs chiens qui aboient jour et nuit difficile de dormir hélas.

Maravilloso alojamiento en La Fortuna

Este lugar es espectacular, la relación calidad/precio es buenísima! La cama es MUY CÓMODA, la habitación es amplia, y la cocinita es perfecta para preparar desayuno y comidas. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca a supermercados y restaurantes, y a solo 20 minutos de los principales atractivos de la zona. Además, Reyna es una anfitriona maravillosa.

Todo excelente personal ubicación muy cerca del centro lugar muy tranquilo puedes caminar sin ningún problema en 5 minutos estas en el centro le recomendaria al 100 %

10/10 accomodation. Perfect

The owners are so kind and helpful. The place had a homely feel and the pets are lovely. We had our laundry done and it was done quickly (and price was reasonable). The location was excellent. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. We would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Affordable stay in Arenal

The apartment had a little kitchen with all needed amenities, coffee, sugar and salt.

There is no air conditioning, just fans. The apartment gets a lot of heat from the roof during the day, that’s why it was quite hot.

Fabulous!

We can fully recommend a stay here, when you plan spending days in La Fortuna! It is not directly in town, but it’s only a 5 minute walk and potentially more quiet. We booked one of the double rooms for 3 nights and decided to extend for another 3 nights! The facility inside offers everting you need and it’s pretty new! We felt very comfortable and welcome. Reyna is a very kind and warm-hearted owner, she takes care of everything which makes your stay as comfortable as possible! Lovely! Fue un honor conocerte para nosotros!

Really comfortable, immaculately clean, spacious apartment and kitchen with views of the volcano from window. Only 5 minutes safe walk from town, bars and restaurants and so quiet for sleeping. Lovely helpful welcoming owners who assisted with everything including booking tours and onward journey. Excellent value accommodation and first class service.

Raina was so helpful and helped us feel welcome and at home. We got a discount thanks to her for day entry at the Baldi thermal spa hotel, which was an amazing experience and we'd highly recommend it (she even drove us there and back for an amount lower than a taxi would have charged us). She also arranged a really good massage (discounted and lasting longer than advertised!) and pointed us in the direction of the El Salto pools, which are less than 1km away from the accommodation. The location of the accommodation couldn't be better - it is away from the hustle and noise of the centre, but it is only a 5-minute walk away from it, with choice of some great and cheap eateries within a stone's throw. The two fans in the room worked very hard while we were there in July (it was SO hot and humid!), and the outdoor space under the canopy was also well used by us (the hammock was especially comfy!). We would recommend this accommodation in La Fortuna very happily.

Almost cancelled. Glad I didn't.

The room photos are a little confusing.i almost cancelled because of this. I booked the basic double ( the one that has the big cloth sun in the background). The room is actually nicer than the picture. It is in the back of the house along with a couple other units. The room had 2 fans, refrigerator, microwave and electric burner. It was very clean and had soap and shampoo dispensers. The room was very clean. It was not a luxury room, but clean, quiet and comfortable. About 7min. walk from main bus station, 15 min from Bogarin Trail, 15 min. From rope swing. If you are looking for property turn at bike shop (red and white sign) and turn right at first right. About halfway down the street. I would definitely stay again.

This place is a great deal. The apartment was spacious and included everything we needed for a short stay, and the bed was very comfortable. There were three fans that kept the room cool. About a 7 minute walk from the bus station.

Reyna is an excellent host. The apartme t is very clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: fully equipped kitchen, AC, good bad, TV, warm water, good shower pressure. The location is anout 5-10 minutes away from the busy street and it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Reyna helps you with booking any shuttles or trips you may want to take. Truly recommended.

Great studio apartment!

Excellent private apartment, friendly and incredibly helpful host, very comfortable stay. It was about 6-8 minutes walk to the centre of La Fortuna's main tourist area and it was perfect. Quiet enough while still close. Kitchen with hot plate, kettle, microwave, mini fridge and necessities for cooking (pan, plates, etc). Will recommend to anyone I know visiting La Fortuna.

Great stay overall!

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and the property a little bit outside of the main strip of La Fortuna which made our stay nice and quiet (although there was a bit of construction going on). The TV had Netflix.

Reyna the owner was incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you could need. Her two dogs and kitty were adorable. My boyfriend and I loved it there. Highly recommended!

really love the place - two extremely cute dogs and a lovely host! really liked the kitchen and the fact the host provided water and banana on arrival :) and coffee! would really highly recommend - close to the centre too! provided anti mosquito which actually worked well.

I honestly can’t think of anything. perhaps Aircon would be nice as it doesn’t have
