The views from the lodge overlooking Nyungwe National Park are absolutely breathtaking! The complimentary breakfast was a delightful; offering a fantastic variety of delicious options to start our day. We felt incredibly safe and secure throughout our visit, and the tents were well-stocked with toiletries. The lodge was is also conveniently located right by the road.
My brother and I booked tents, and we were thrilled to have access to a nearby lodge for hot water showers – what a thoughtful touch! And to top it all off, they lit a campfire every night, creating the perfect cozy atmosphere to end our evenings.
My tent had a spoilt zip on one side, which meant a bit of cold air would sneak in during the night. Thankfully, they provided plenty of extra blankets to keep warm! We also weren't made aware there was internet available on the ground until we were checking out, but it was no problem since I had my own

We loved our stay at Nyungwe Ecolodge. We arrived in heavy rains and we were kindly given an upgrade to a room from our tent we had booked. Staff even brought food menus to us so we wouldn’t have to go out in the rain! We had the spaghetti bolognaise and it was so good we had it a second night! The restaurant is a lovely cosy room with an open fire, a great place to enjoy a cold beer and the manager Eric is lovely to chat to. We had such a nice relaxing stay, the room was lovely, bed was comfy, and all the staff were so friendly. Not to mention breakfast is great and very filling! Sets you up well for a day of walking in the forest.

Very nice and cosy accommodation that is located at the Nyungwe park entrance, which makes it an excellent place to stay if you do activities around. It can get cold in the area, but luckily there are big blankets to warm one up.
No Wi-Fi in the rooms and they have frequent power cutoffs.

Location is great, views are beautiful. The Camp Fire is nice, too.
It is overpriced (maybe because there are so view options in that area?).
