The location was ideal for access to Ballater and Royal Deeside. Cathy was a warm and welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble for her. Comfy beds, cosy room with everything one could need for a couple of night’s stay. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Stunning property, lovingly cared for with great amenities. Cathy was a fabulous host and looked after us very well.

Location. Comfortable bed. Nice host

Something to make the room seem more comfortable. Still felt like a school room. Building is quite cold. Communal seating area was an acquired taste and not inviting. Wooden floors above meant its very noisy if you're below.Breakfast was OK nothing more.
