About this house rental
Located in La Palma, this attractive house for $137 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. ** New infinity pool with ocean views and barbecue area ** ** Wireless Internet connection free Wifi ** Rocha Views is located on a small hill with incredible views over banana and avocado plantations onto the sea on the west side of the island. Its location allows the guests to enjoy the sun all throughout the day. The property is located at roughly 350 meters above sea level which guarantees day time temperature of 26 C in the summer and 22 C in the winter. Between October and April there are 3 days of rain per month on average, while the rest of the year is dry. The villa has three double bedrooms (king size beds) and two bathrooms, a living room with panoramic views to the sea thanks to the 2 meters wide glass door and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a large south-facing patio which is ideal for breakfast. The west side of the house is wrapped by a long terrace, perfect for capturing the beautiful sunsets. On the north side of the property there is a private outdoor space - great for al fresco lunch or dinner. La Prosperidad supermarket is well stocked and only 3 minutes away by car. Next to it there is a small bar / restaurant that serves delicious traditional Spanish dishes like tortilla, croquets, etc. They also do take away. The closest beach is Puerto de Tazacorte, roughly 15 minutes by car. This volcanic beach, hence the black sand, is the largest on the island. The pleasant temperatures make it possible to swim all year around.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Es fehlte uns in dem Haus an nichts (Handtücher und Bettwäsche für 6 Personen ausreichend vorhanden). Geschirr in der Küche könnte für 6 Personen etwas erweitert werden (Schüsseln, Gläser). Ansonsten ist alles sehr modern und sehr gut eingerichtet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Der Ausblick und das Baden im Pool sind absolut unschlagbar und mega...
Defekter Sonnenschirm wurde sofort ersetzt. Alles in allem für uns eine 1+++.

Wir fühlten uns bestens aufgehoben
Das geräumige Haus liegt ruhig an der LP 116 alleinstehend ist aber dennoch nur wenige km von Los Llanos hinterm Time entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind immer ansprechbar gewesen, falls es Probleme gab, die auch umgehend behoben wurden. Es gab eine wöchentliche Reinigung inklusive Entfernung der Vulkanasche. Ebenfalls bekamen wir Wein, frische Eier und natürlich Bananen. Der beleuchtete Pool ist extrem sauber und bietet nach einen anstrengenden Sporttag eine willkommene Erfrischung. Abends kann man den Tag in den gemütlichen Outdoorsesseln beschließen. Wir kommen bestimmt nächstes Jahr wieder….

Schitterende woning met alle comfort
De boeking, het onthaal ging zeer vlot.
Auto heb je écht wel nodig
Alle beschrijvingen kloppen 100%
Zowat het enige dat ontbreekt is een grote snijplank...
Als je op zondagavond aankomt, heb je best al enkele nodige boodschappen gedaan...
Voor de rest is deze woning een echte aanrader voor wie de rust en stilte opzoekt...

Perfektes Feriendomizil und fürsorgliche Gastgeber
Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen im Juni 2021 im Haus von Genni und Geo.
Die Ausstattung des Hauses entspricht einem hohen Standard und der Beschreibung im Internet. Es hat alles funktioniert.
Zum Geniessen ist der Pool und die Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick.
Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter Geo und Genny war einwandfrei und aussergewöhnlich liebenswürdig.
Früchte, Wein und Eier als Willkommensgeschenk. Reinigung der Wohnung und Austausch von Bettwäsche und Frottiertücher nach einer Woche. So kann man die Ferien geniessen. Weiter waren Genni und Geo immer per mail erreichbar um Fragen zu beantworten.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder zurückkehren.

Einfach nur wunderbar!
Nach langem "Nichtreisen" in der Pandemie haben wir im November 2020 gebucht ohne zu wissen, ob wir überhaupt würden reisen können. Es hat funktioniert.
Das Haus ist ein Traum, insbesondere die tolle Terasse mit dem Pool waren nach jeder Wanderung wieder neu ein Highlight. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr liebenswürdig. Alles in allem eine tolle Woche auf der wunderschönen Insel La Palma.

Casa en buena zona, fácil de llegar. Desde que llegamos las expectativas que teníamos se quedaron cortas. Mucho mejor que en las fotos y todo limpio y en perfecto estado. Comunicación con los anfitriones excelente, responden en la mayor brevedad posible. Repetiremos seguro!!!

We spent one month (mid-December to mid-January) in this fantastic house with a breathtaking view and we would have stayed much longer if we could.
We had the opportunity of using all the facilities (washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen, grill, “infinity” pool, etc.) and everything worked perfectly well.
The place is very quiet, the landscape is beautiful and the sunsets impressive. La Punta has a very mild microclimate and you can use the pool also in winter.
Even though the house is warm, it also has heaters in every room.
There’s a supermarket nearby (5 minutes by car) where you can buy anything you need.
Genni and Luis are extremely nice, generous and helpful hosts, always ready to advise and help you to find whatever you might need (even a physiotherapist on New Year’s Eve!).
The house was spotless as they cleaned it every Saturday, bringing not only fresh linen and towels, but also fruits, eggs, avocados and other products of the land. We really felt pampered. They even brought a telescope so we could watch the stars at night.
We look forward to returning to this beautiful place and we absolutely recommend it if you want to spend holidays in a fantastic house in La Palma.

Schönes Haus mit toller Terrasse in ruhiger Lage
Das Haus liegt in einer guten klimatischen Zone. Zudem erreicht die Sonne das kleine Anwesen bald nach Sonnenaufgang. Das ist optimal für die Westküste im Winter. Das Haus liegt ruhig, ist gut eingerichtet, Matratzen und Schlafkomfort sind hervorragend. Toller Terrassenplatz am Pool mit Grill. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön, die Aussicht spektakulär.
Der Zuschnitt des Hauses und die Möblierung am Pool waren sehr schön. Wir laben alles sehr gerne genutzt.
Im Haus könnte die Ausstattung der Küche mit mehr Geschirr für 6 Personen, Teekanne und Schalen aufgestockt werden. Die Messer waren fast unbrauchbar.
In den Schlafzimmern sollte im Inserat darauf hingewiesen werden, dass es sich jeweils um französische Betten handelt, mit einer durchgehenden Matratze.
Für Reisende, die keine Paare sind, etwas sehr eng.
Der Kontakt und die Unterstützung durch unsere Vermieterin war sehr nett und unproblematisch,
vielen Dank auch für das Wein/ Obst/ Brot Geschenk zum Einzug.
Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Rust en comfort in luxe.
Niets van wat de beschrijving van de woning ons voorspiegelde was gelogen. Een prachtig huis, met alle comfort en rust, die we ons hadden gewenst. Zeer ruime keuken, fijn zwembad, prima badkamer en slaapkamer. De gastvrouw was bereid om, tot onze vreugde, onze inchecktijd enkele uren te vervroegen en we werden, zoals te doen gebruikelijk op La Palma, ook hier weer verrast met een lading aan lokale produkten, zoals wijn, eieren en fruit. Het huis was perfect schoon, werd zelfs halverwege ons verblijf nogmaals schoongemaakt (incl. linnenverschoningen) en alle voorzieningen, zoals handdoeken, keukengerei, etc. waren in meer dan voldoende mate aanwezig, al is dat misschien niet verwonderlijk bij een gebruik door twee personen van een huis, dat voor 6 gasten geschikt is. De ligging met uitzicht over de oceaan was prima en erg rustig. Kortom,
grote klasse.

Eine Ort zum Genießen
Wir haben eine Woche lang das tolle Wetter und die Ruhe in dem wunderschönen Haus genossen.
Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir, neben der sehr modernen und geschmackvollen Einrichtung, von dem für La Palma typischen Obst in der Küche überrascht. Die restliche Verpflegung ermöglichte uns, dass wir gleich am ersten Abend gesättigt ins Bett gehen konnten und nicht noch einkaufen mussten :)
Die ganze Zeit über bereitete uns vor Allem der tolle Außenbereich eine riesen Freude, wobei der Infinitypool mit super Ausblick ganz klar die Hauptattraktion ist.
Wir können das Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und planen wiederzukommen!

Was für ein Blick über den Atlantik!
Alles so wie beschrieben, top gepflegt. Alles vorhanden, wenn man mal selber kochen möchte. Ruhige freie Lage, aber nicht abgelegen; gute Restaurants in der Nähe, allerdings ohne Auto nicht zu erreichen, in Puntagorda, Tinizara und insbesondere in Tazacorte (Carpe Diem), toller Ort, tolles Restaurant. Die angrenzende Strasse wird selten genutzt und wenn so hat es uns nicht gestört; die Strasse ist von der Terrasse aus auch nicht sichtbar, weil sie deutlich tiefer liegt. Das echte Highlight ist der weite, weite und freie Blick über den Atlantik und das auch noch aus dem Pool, das haben wir sehr genossen. Schwimmen vor dem Frühstück, nach langen Wanderrungen und mit Poolbeleuchtung unter einem Sternenhimmel, der seinesgleichen sucht - Erholung pur, Klasse!
Guter Ausgangspunkt für kürzere, einfache Wanderungen in den Wäldern oberhalb von Tijarafe, ohne grosse Steigungen, Hoya Grande und weitere. Und guter Punkt zu den Schwimmmöglichkeiten an der Westküste. Der Kontakt zu den Geo y Genni Rocha über Email war unkompliziert und Fragen wurden direkt beantwortet; über die Früchte, das Obst und den Wein und die Blumen von Geo und Genni haben wir uns sehr gefreut und natürlich genossen.
Was soll man sagen? Wir wären ohne Frage gerne länger geblieben; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, diese Casa hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage; dann das vierte Mal. Auf dieser Insel gibt es noch viel zu entdecken. Familie Weber

Traumurlaub
Das Haus ist das beste Haus, das wir je gemietet haben, Es ist noch besser, als beschrieben. Wir waren 4 Wochen dort und konnten endlich mal richtig Urlaub machen. Die Vermieter verdienen zurecht 5 Sterne. Das Haus wurde 1 mal pro Woche gereinigt, Bettwäsche gewechselt und wir wurden mit einheimischen Lebensmittel wie frische Eier und Obst verwöhnt. Genni, war super nett und hat sich wiederholt erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die ganze Einrichtung hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der tolle, gepflegte Pool lädt definitiv zum Schwimmen ein. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, den wir unseren Freunden und Bekannten schon weiterempfohlen haben.

Ein ganz besonderes Haus
Wir haben 8 Tage im Casa Rocha View verbracht - und es sehr genossen.
Das Haus gefiel uns im Besonderen auf Grund des klaren und eleganten Stil ohne Kitsch - welche Wohltat !!!
Die Einrichtung ist mit allem super ausgestattet und der Aussenbereich ist natürlich phänomenal, mit der Aussenküche/Grill, dem Infinity-Pool und der grandiosen Aussicht. Durch die Alleinlage kann man die Ruhe und den Sternenhimmel noch mehr geniessen. Trotzdem empfanden wir das Haus nicht abgelegen, in unmittelbarer Nähe hat es Bar's und einen Supermarkt und die Einstiege zu diversen Wanderungen sind gut zu erreichen.
Die Hausübergabe war unkompliziert und wir möchten uns bei den Besitzern auch nochmal herzlichst bedanken für den vollen Korb mit Obst und Gemüse und dem Wein.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I stayed a month and liked the house and location. Internet was good. Modern, light house. A little stark with no rugs on floors, no pictures on walls, no curtains (there are blinds). Area was quiet. Excellent weekly cleaning with generous supply of wine, coffee, eggs, fruit, etc. Kitchen would benefit from a microwave.

We loved staying at Rocha Views, quietly located in the middle of banana plantations. Exquisit sea view with a lovely infinity pool. On top of the bill we were welcomed with fresh fruit & wine.

Great week away in May with wife and two children (7 & 4). The villa was perfect, very will furnished with everything you need for a week (or more) away. Great little touches of fresh fruit, eggs, wine and coffee to welcome you. The location was gorgeous but a car is a must.
Highly recommended albeit maybe not enough on the island generally to keep the children fully entertained (we are not a 100% beach only family (albeit spent 3 days exploring the local ones!)). The great pool obviously helped with the entertainment

The house stands alone on a hill with a fantastic view of the surrounding banana plantations and the Atlantic ocean provides an infinite background. The pool of course is a major and desirable feature and is certainly amply sized for three or four people to relax and cool off after a hard day's walking, which la palma gives you plenty of opportunity to do. The shop, which is just five minutes away by car (and by the way, you will need a car) is well stocked and prices are reasonable.
Loved the house, loved the island, not as touristy as the larger canary islands, therefore much more nature and far fewer people, we look forward to going again.

Das Haus steht inmitten von Bananenplantagen und wer die Ruhe und eine spektakulären Blick auf den Atlantik sucht ist hier genau am richtigen Platz. Ein Auto ist hierzu aber auf jeden Fall notwendig.
Wir wurden mit einem großen Fruchtkorb, diversen lokalen Getränken sowie frischen Eiern und süßen Willkommensgrüßen im Haus empfangen.
Wir hatten schon diverse Ferienwohnungs-Vermieter, aber Geo und Genni sind einmalig. Jede Anfrage oder Anregung wurde sofort von Ihnen beantwortet bzw. angenommen. Sogar an Feiertagen wurde uns nach der Suche eines Arztes jede Hilfe angeboten. Wenn Sie gebraucht wurden waren Sie da und dank moderner Kommunikationstechnik quasi immer erreichbar.
Die Einrichtung mit zwei Bädern und drei Schlafzimmern war für uns zwei Personen optimal. Die Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses ist neu und geschmackvoll. Alle Böden sind gefliest bzw. mit Laminat ausgelegt. Jeder Raum ist mobilen Heizungen ausgestattet. Bedingt durch die Höhenlage von ca. 480m kann es abends und nachts in den Wintermonaten etwas kühl werden.
Das Haus ist von drei Seiten mit Terrassen umgeben. Somit kann für jede Tageszeit die optimale Location gewählt werden. Außer vier neuen verstellbaren Liegen steht noch ein massiver Holz-Terrassentisch mit Sitzmöglichkeiten für 6 Personen zur Verfügung. Wir genossen das tägliche Frühstück in der Morgensonne und die Sonnenbäder entweder auf den Lounge Möbeln oder den erwähnten Liegen.
Die Bilder des Hauses und der Einrichtung entsprechen dem Original. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Das komplette Anwesen ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und der Garten wunderschön angelegt.
La Punta /Tijarafe ist ca. 25 min von Los Llanos de Aridane und ca. 60 min vom Flughafen Santa Cruz entfernt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Norden sowie den Süden von La Palma ist das Haus sehr gut geeignet.
Essensmöglichkeiten gibt es sehr gute in Tazacorte, Los Llanos de Aridane sowie in Tijarafe. Außerdem gibt es im Ort eine Bananen Cooperativa „Cooperativa La Prosperidad“ die einen Supermarkt und eine Bar betreibt, in dieser bekommt man leckere und authentische Tapas. Wer will auch als Take-Away. Hier treffen sich die Plantagenarbeiter von 6:00 – 22:00. Ein Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert!

La Punta /Tijarafe ist ca. 25 min von Los Llanos de Aridane und ca. 60 min vom Flughafen Santa Cruz entfernt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Norden sowie den Süden von La Palma ist das Haus sehr gut geeignet.
Essensmöglichkeiten gibt es sehr gute in Tazacorte, Los Llanos de Aridane sowie in Tijarafe. Außerdem gibt es im Ort eine Bananen Cooperativa „Cooperativa La Prosperidad“ die einen Supermarkt und eine Bar betreibt, in dieser bekommt man leckere und authentische Tapas. Wer will auch als Take-Away. Hier treffen sich die Plantagenarbeiter von 6:00 – 22:00. Ein Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert!
