About this chalet rental
Wake to the birds, the gum trees and the Grampians through the glass: a soothing spa, a wood fire in the evening. A Heavenly Escape is a boutique couples retreat on a private double forest block, close enough to walk to Halls Gap, private enough to forget it.
"This is a place that seemed to sit somewhere between a gallery and a home without explicitly becoming either. Every single part of the accommodation was wonderfully intentional." (Will, 2026)
Wake to kangaroos on the grass, and cockatoos, rosellas and kookaburras at breakfast, watched from the deck among the gum trees. Inside, the cabin is hung with my own original photography, set up balancing creativity with comfort, homeliness with the sometimes quirky.

Spa, wood fire, a raised deck (my favourite), a full kitchen, Weber BBQ and a great film library: everything you need to slow right down. Bushwalk, kayak, bike, and taste local wines by day, light the fire and run the spa by night.

Secluded and quiet, off the grid a little, yet a ten-minute walk into town: a retreat for two, and a perfect base from which to explore the Grampians.
"We had a truly magical stay, where the beauty of the Grampians felt like it was right in our living room. It was a nature lover's dream to wake up to such a pristine, tranquil environment, while still being so close to the local walking trails." (Arun, 2026)

Set in the middle of Halls Gap this place was amazing to stay at. Wildlife at your doorstep and such a comfortable quiet clean place with some amazing local photography from the host. Will definitely stay there again. Plenty of information on hand for day trips and places of interest. Everything you will need is supplied just bring food and snacks.

Had a great stay. Love Halls Gap winters with cold misty weather and Heavenly Escape was the perfect place to stay warm and relax with the fireplace and spa. Hope to return

Heavenly Escape comes as advertised! Lodgings are spacious, clean, delightfully decored, wonderfully positioned and the hot tub is the perfect size for 2!
Timothy was great to deal with, the information was clear and comprehensive. We'd definitely stay her again when in the Grampians!

When we first entered the property there was a very bad odor, the kitchen was greasy and the bathroom had existing hair on the tiles.
