The apartment was so well located, Giancarlo had everything explained in a folder in four languages about the apartment, restaurants, the Funicular, how to gat around etc. The apartment was filled with a wide variety of beautiful art. And when we were leaving he arranged for a cab and he had a very nice lady help communicate with the cabs, as there were six of us. A horrendous heatwave decided to hit Naples the same day we arrived. Because of that we didn’t get to experience Naples as much as we would have liked. Also one of the air conditioners wasn’t able to cool the bed room down enough. This home felt very welcoming to us.

The hosts are great. They response fast, waited at us when the check in time passed way over midnight, helping arrainging transport etc. The apartment is huge, 2 bed rooms (1 with twin beds and 1 with a double bed), 1 office room with a fold out bed and 1 living room with a fold out bed. We were only 4 persons and had a room each. I guess they can arrange more beds if you need. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with all you need (coffeemaker, oven, hub, dish washer etc). Best of all the terrasse. Its big and with a view over the city. There is retractable awnings to make shade when the sun is shinning. The area Vomero is up a hill from the downtown area. You can take the funicalars or metro up and down. And they are a short walk from the apartment. Plenty of restaurants, cafees, fastfood etc in Vomero. Supermarket nearby. All in all its a great base for your Napoli stay. I hope to be back in the future, still so much to see in and around Napoli.

This flat is nicely located in the Vomero area. It is close to central Vomero but still quite. It is easy to get to the city center with metro or fumiculare. The price value ratio is very high. Really recommended. We stayed here a month for work and would like to thank our hosts.

My group of five stayed for 5 days at this apartment. It was the middle of summer so very hot, but having three air conditioners, two in the main bedrooms and one in the kitchen, helped a lot with the heat. The apartment itself was very well kept and the kitchen was stocked with everything necessary to cook, including oil, spices, and kitchen implements. One of the highlights was the balcony that had a partial view of the city and a great awning to keep the sun off. One of our group commented that this was the best place they had stayed in Italy after 3 weeks of travel!

Location was excellent as Vomero is a nice neighborhood & you are minutes from Metro & Funiculars. Apt was spacious enough for a family of 6 & was a great base from which to tour Pompeii, Capri, Naples, etc. Giancarlo was a fabulous host & was extremely communicative & helpful both prior to our arrival as well as when we were there! This was my kids’ 1st visit to Italy & although we enjoyed Roma, Napoli now has a place in our hearts & if we’re ever fortunate enough to make our way back, I would absolutely want to stay in Giancarlo’s property again! Well equipped, comfortable, spacious apartment, with relaxing outdoor terrace. The perfect nightly escape from the hustle and bustle of Naples -- but still close to everything, including beautiful views from nearby streets and piazzas.

My group of three loves this apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. The apartment is lovely and our hosts left us fresh fruit and other snacks which were much appreciated as our flight arrived very late. Restaurants. shopping, a local market, and the Vanvitelli metro station are all within an easy walk of the apartment. We can’t wait to visit Naples and the Vomero neighborhood again.

The apartment was spacious and nicely furnished, nothing to be missed (dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board etc.) Even extra towels were available, which is not common in Italy. The roof terrace was nice an breezy on a hot day, the views not extraordinary, but a cool space to relax. There are stairs to down town for a fun walk (25 min), but the funicular is the easier, though not faster way to the historic center of Napels. Overall, a very good experience!

Traveling with a baby is tough, but everything about this stay was easy! Great touches included little snacks and treats, the entire place was amazing. The location cannot be better, it’s far away from the cruise tourists, close to the metro station, amd around plenty of restaurants, bars, and street markets. I simply cannot say enough good things about this place.

The apartment is in a beautiful building and pictures are exactly as they seem. Great location with restaurants, cafes and transit close by. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful!

The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Giancarlo is a great host, friendly and available if you need him. We loved the location with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as great transport connections. We packed in a lot of activities during our stay and each day we were really pleased to get back to the apartment and relax.

Accueil très sympathique et efficace du propriétaire. L’appartement est très bien situé, près des 3 funiculaires et du métro, mais aussi de nombreux restaurants et magasins d’alimentation. Il est confortable, très bien équipé, et doté d’un très belle terrasse où il fait bon dîner ou se reposer. C’est un lieu idéal pour découvrir tous les quartiers de Naples, sans utiliser une voiture. Idem pour aller au port prendre les bateaux pour les îles. Nous recommandons très fortement cette très belle location (nous sommes une famille avec 5 enfants).

5 Tage Neapel im Februar - 17 Grad Sonnenschein - das Meer - die Stadt - einfach herrlich. Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt; obwohl wir fast nur zum Schlafen dort waren. Der Stadtteil oben auf dem Berg ist sehr angenehm und man kann gut und günstig essen gehen. Schlüsselübergabe problemlos - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter

Der Vermieter hat uns erwartet und informierte uns sehr gut über die Wohnung, die sehr geräumig war. In der Wohnung gab es viel Informationsmaterial über Neapel. Die Lage in der unmittelbaren Nähe von San Elmo war sehr gut. Von der großen Terasse hatten wir einen guten Ausblick über Teile der Stadt und eine direkte Sicht auf die Festung San Elmo. Direkt vor der Haustür war eine Bushaltestelle, zu Metro hatten wir ca. 10 Minuten zu gehen. In nächster Nähe gab es auch gute Restaurants und einen Supermarkt. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung und in Neapel sehr wohl gefühlt.

Appartamento grande, ben accessoriato, molto pulito, in un'ottima zona di Napoli, silenziosa e molto ben servita (negozi, ristoranti, supermercato e funicolari a breve distanza). Il Castello di Sant'Elmo, da cui si gode un panorama superlativo sulla città e dintorni, è letteralmente dietro l'angolo. Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. Giancarlo ci ha accolti nel migliore dei modi. Tutto perfetto.

Superbe appartement très calme et confortable avec en prime une grande terrasse, situé à deux pas du métro et des funiculaires dans un beau quartier à la fois calme et vivant. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, très accueillants et très arrangeants. Une adresse de grande qualité hautement recommandable, idéale pour passer quelques jours à Naples.

Tout est parfait dans cette location : appartement très bien distribué, confortable et calme, donnant l'impression d'être chez soi. Très propre. Quartier calme et sympa, bien desservi par les transports (métro et trois funiculaires), commerces à proximité et Carrefour ouvert 24 sur 24h et 7 jours sur 7. Cuisine bien équipée (mais absence d'un grille-pain), prolongée d'une grande terrasse facilement accessible qui surplombe Naples. Bonne literie. Accueil très courtois et grande disponibilité du propriétaire. Séjour enchanteur. Merci à Giancarlo pour toutes ses attentions. Nous reviendrons.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to museums, restaurants, grocery & public transportation was great. Giancarlo’s apartment is much larger in person and we loved having a glass of wine on the huge terrace in the evenings. My son took a great pizza making class at a local cooking school about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. My uncle & I enjoyed the Castel Sant’ Elmo, ( literally around the corner from the apartment) & a day trip to Pompei & Mt. Vesuvius. Would stay here again!

We loved the area and Naples - lovely to walk down the steps to the Centro historico. We spent very interesting days visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Port, the island of Procida, Caserta , the beach of Marechiaro and locally the underground tour, the monastery and Castle, (just around the corner), museums and churches - so much to see and all by local transport.
