Nestled in Santanyí, this attractive house for $139 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This charming village house with small, very private courtyard and little balcony with views across rooftops of the village, at least 110 years old and originally lovingly restored by heritage builder and newly upgraded to little v. special townhouse nicely furnished for comfortable holiday living. Thick stone walls and heavy original shutters keep house cosy and private in winter and cooler in summer. Small, charming courtyard provides private sunbathing and outdoor eating in warm months and balcony has winter sun all year. Location 5 mins walk from friendly, beautiful town square with many cafes, bars etc. makes house equally suitable for summer or winter holidays and all season activities, has often been used as a base for grateful cyclists exploring this lovely corner of Majorca. One way street with parking outside door. Charming house is very well equipped with heating/aircon upstairs, heating and fans downstairs, all mod cons, comfortable seating outside and in, dinner table for 6 , SKY satellite tv and dvd box, has well equipped kitchen opening to both sitting room and courtyard. Broadband. Further Details: Travel: Car hire is recommended but not absolutely essential as there is regular bus service to airport and Palma in summer, infrequent in winter. Palma airport is 40 minutes away, the lovely old town of Palma just 15 minutes further. The island has motorway coverage from just before the airport. Parking in street outside the house. Beaches: within 15 mins bike ride, 7 mins car - Many consider Mallorca’s best beach to be Cala Llombards. Cala Santanyi has more tourist attractions in summer – both are within 10 minutes drive. Cala D’or with a marina, tourist shops, night spots and beaches 20 minutes away. Likewise Colonia de San Jordi – lovely seafood restaurants in the harbour in summer. Golf: Vall D’or and Pula – respectively 20 and 50 minutes away (La Rotana and Son Servera – 9 holes closer). NB: Easy village access and house comfort makes it equally suitable for out of season activities. This townhouse in Santanyi, is very well presented and in a great location. The kitchen is really well equipped, and has everything, if not more, to prepare an evening meal, the location of the house is great for all local amenities and only minutes away from the town centre, the property is on street parking but this did not prove too difficult. The host was really quick to respond with any queries around the booking, and inside the house there was an information pack which was really useful, also the Housekeeper lives on the same street, so it was comforting to know she was there if we ran into any problems. I would stay at this property again.

The house is located in the middle of the beautiful and charming city of Santanyi, great spot for tours around Mallorca or just to enjoy the South and East coast of the island with its diverse beaches and activities. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are nearby (walking distance), a popular market takes place in Santanyi every Wednesday and Saturday (which is always a happening), all sights of Mallorca are reachable within 30-60 min by car, free parking nearby the house. Great beaches are close to Santanyi (we loved Cala Mondragó and Es Trenc). The house is wonderfully designed, spacious, has everything you need for a family with a teenager, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, private patio, air conditioning, WiFi, Sky TV and it is very clean … we enjoyed the house a lot! Serena took great care of us during our stay. We would come back any time!

And you could stock up with fruit and veg etc on market days. Beaches were just 15/20 mins away. Only warning though, if you do eat in the patio area put some mosquito repellant on as they do lie in wait for you!

Top Haus
Das Haus liegt mitten im Zentrum von Santanyi und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt und mehr. Der Ablauf der Agentur war super, es wurde an alles gedacht (einschließlich vorhandenes Trinkwasser bei Eintreffen). Also wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden wieder buchen.

Perfect and well-positioned house to enjoy Santanyi and it's surroundings
The house has been renovated to a very high standard without losing any of the characteristics of a Mallorca townhouse.
It is well-equipped for all needs and very comfortable.
Above all, the manager, Serena, was friendly and extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend JKL house.

La casa es tal y como se describe en el anuncio. Es acogedra y está bien cuidada. Está situada en una zoma transitada del pueblo, a 5’ andando del centro, y a unos 15’ en coche de varias calas maravillosas.

Für uns genau das richtige für 1 Woche Urlaub!
Das Haus ist genauso charmant, wie es auf den Fotos aussieht und es ist fantastisch ausgestattet! Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man ein Auto hat und - wie wir - lieber verschiedene Buchten und Sehenswürdigkeiten besucht, als nur an einem Ort zu bleiben.
Abends haben wir gerne ein Glas Wein auf dem Marktplatz getrunken, der nur 2-3 Minuten von dem Haus entfernt ist. Fazit: wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Mitten in Santanyi
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem schönen „Stadthaus“ in Santanyi. Die Gestaltung der Räume ist liebevoll und landestypisch. Das Equipment für Küche und wohnen ist so komplett, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe - wunderbar!
Die Kommunikation mit Jade im Vorfeld war hervorragend.

Santanyi is a lovely Spanish town with good restaurants when eating out. Short drive to the beach at Call Santanyi. Even shorter drive to Lidl's for your shopping.
Would definitely advise having a small car as parking outside the apartment is tight.

Thought a moment to write in German, but the owner speaks English and hence this is the preferred communication language (as long as you don't speak Danish ;-) ).
We know Santanyí very well and looked for accommodation as the apartment we used to rent was not available. So I don't talk about Santanyí but the lovely town house Jade is offering here. You really feel at home soon as this is not one of the usual tourist places you find in other places on the island. It has the flair of the old buildings with a lot of modern conveniences. We tend to cook a lot on ourselves instead of going to restaurants too often. So the hearth was used a lot and it really was fun as there is everything you need. As it was late September we did not have much sun in the lovely backyard. Some town houses have sun decks on the roof which we missed a little. British Sky TV brings you a lot of stations but we missed some German stations. The workaround for that is connecting a notebook to the fast internet which is provided and using a browser for streaming. I hooked the TV to the notebook and had a good HD reception of the main German stations with that.
We most probably would rent this town house again as we love Santanyí and this is an adequate home for a great vacation off the main touristy places on Mallorca. And not to forget: It was very clean when we moved in! We had other experiences occasionally so we appreciate this. The contact is very friendly and responsive. Thanks a lot for everything!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war supersauber. Die Informationen des Vermieters kamen zeitnah nach Buchung und waren umfassend. Die Schlafräume befinden sich in der 1. Etage. Es ist zu beachten, dass die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen nicht für Kleinkinder geeignet ist. Das Haus ist für Einzelreisende und Familien mit großen Kindern absolut empfehlenswert.

Coming from Australia, we found Santanyi in Mallorca to be a perfect place to begin a European holiday and relax before further travel. The beautifully restored 100 year old stone house is comfortable, well presented, tastefully furnished and made us feel instantly at home.
On arrival we collected the key from the wonderful Teresa who lives nearby and maintains the property in perfect condition. The kitchen was well stocked with basic ingredients and everything you could possibly need, including a modern dishwasher and washing machine.
The main bedroom was comfortable with plenty of hanging space and we slept well thanks to the quiet location. The bathroom had an excellent supply of hot water and was well fitted, and the second toilet downstairs was a bonus. Free WiFi allowed us to keep in touch with home. A range of TV programs and DVDs are available.
The charming stone courtyard was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day of sightseeing.
The sunny spring time weather was perfect for visiting the local beaches and fishing villages and being out of the main holiday season meant no crowds. We hired a car at the airport and easily found our way to Santanyi. Parking at the house is easy and is free. Easy day trips are possible from Santanyi to Palma, the east coast villages, the national parks and the beautiful mountain areas to the north west. Santanyi is well served by supermarkets and a bonus is the popular twice a week market with wonderful fresh produce. The town square and surrounding area has many good cafes, bakeries and boutiques. A favorite coffee spot was Goli, just around the corner from the house.
The owner Jade, was very helpful in providing information prior to our arrival. Our week long stay was a highlight of our European holiday and we would certainly recommend the house to others.
