Lovely quaint pub with excellent comfy rooms. Easy to find and parking was a doddle. We had our evening meal in the pub which was very good. The fact that the restaurant was busy shows it is very popular. There was a good choice at breakfast, which was cooked to order.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Room modern, clean and comfortable. Fantastic food and drink. Excellent breakfast. This pub is a little gem. Full of character. Has its claim to fame as it was owned by Jamie Oliver’s parents for 44 years and he grew up there. If I am in the area again I will definitely return.

We stayed in a room in the courtyard and it was lovely and peaceful. We had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, nice shower, tea and coffee provided. The breakfast was amazing. Our 2nd time staying in 3 weeks.

Great rural location, charming old building.

The staff were a mixed bunch in terms of how they dealt with customers. Some were welcoming and very nice, others were just going through the motions…
