Super Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Flughafennähe

Das Personal war so freundlich und flexibel. Trotz kurzfristiger Buchung & frühem Abreisen wurde mir sogar noch ein Frühstückspäckchen mit Kaffee to go vorbereitet.

Leider hatte es im Zimmer ein paar tote Fliegen um das Fenster. Ansonsten war es aber sauber. Das Zimmer war klein, hatte aber alles was man braucht.

Schoon en goed onderhouden hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel waar ik een heel goed verblijf heb g

Ontzettend aardig personeel. Ik kon op het laatste moment nog mee-eten. Er was een pick-up service vanaf het vliegveld. In- en uitchecken ging heel snel en soepel. Kamer was netjes en schoon.

Superb

This place definitely improved my mood after learning my flight was 24 hours delayed. It is very near the airport, yet I felt I was in the country and being treated to one last night of lovely Norwegian country life. At the same time, it was a pleasant walk to a nearby restaurant and the staff also offered a ride to and from the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. No elevators in the two floor building, but staff carried my bags for me. - I chose this location partly because I needed to get to the airport by 3:30am and they were willing and able to drive me anytime I needed to leave. Other hotels in the area had shuttles, but none that left when I needed them. - They made me a boxed breakfast and accommodated my dietary restrictions. The only reason my breakfast rating was not higher was because the sandwich was dry, but still met my needs.

A Quaint and Homey Hostel- feels like you're in the Norwegian Countryside

I had to leave before the continental breakfast was served, so the staff put together a little breakfast bag and made me coffee to take with me to the airport. They also drove me to and from the airport which was a great add on service!

I don't know if I have any constructive criticism, the property was beautiful and very well-kept. There was a lot of charm and felt very comforting. I was one of few guests at the time which made the property very quiet. I guess the only comment I would make is that the restaurant was closed, but then again I was one of the very few guests so I was understanding...(and it allowed me to explore the area and find another place to try.)

A Very Pleasant Surprise...

The hotel has an old world charm and a cosy hygge feel. It is everything that a sterile, industrial corporate hotel is not. It is situated in a wheat field, more or less and a 40 minute walk from the Terminal. Warm welcome and DELIGHTFUL staff who couldn't be more helpful. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous woodland walk near by with deer. If this hotel were located anywhere else I would have liked to have stayed several days.

No kettle in the room and fact that I couldn't stay longer.

Great location, along with the helpful staff make this one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Great hotel to stay in near the airport. The staff / manager go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay. They go out of their way to make sure you have a enjoyable stay, and spent extra time helping me figure out the trains/buses to Oslo city center. The airport shuttle is convenient, and the breakfast was fantastic. This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in all my travels.

Everything was great, no complaints.

Very cosy warm atmosphere with exceptional service. Airport shuttle tailed to your needs. Amazing.

It is an incredible airport hotel. I have travelled extensively and never had staff that have attended to my personal needs in such a professional and thoughtful way. This place is truly a gem. Very cosy with exceptional service. Staff are warm and welcoming and the food is very high quality in a candle lit atmosphere. I flew out of Norway and days later I still think of the place so fondly. What a gorgeous place to stay - full of character, charm and soul.

Very good

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, not too noisy despite closeness to the airport. Can reach the airport within 10 minutes by public transportation or by ordering shuttle. All in all, good value for money.

The bed was too hard to my taste. The room’s interior was a little bit “tired”, but nothing too bad.

stay for the meals, hospitality and ambience

The meals are delicious! The ambiance wonderful and the hospitality welcoming.

The bedding had not been thoroughly washed from other guests… it stunk so bad with dander that Lysol sprat could not cover the smell. I finally put a used shirt from Africa over my pillow so I could get some rest.

The loveliest hotel with the nicest staff! so helpful and welcoming! The breakfast room is so nice, with an actual fireplace! The staff were nice enough to help me out with everything I asked for and took me to the airport ( which is cheaper than a taxi and much more comfortable!) I really recommend this hotel!

Some noise from the outside. As it is next to the airport people are leaving at various hours, like super early in the morning and you can hear them. but it has nothing to do with the hotel, except, maybe , walls are not soundproof enough.

This place really great and even for the price it was for! i have loved the breakfast and the selection there was, It was really delicious too! The staff was really helpful, could ask any question and just all around lovely to work with. I would definitely want to stay here on this hotel again in the future when i go for a holiday.

Swiss watch !!!!!

I called to the reception and in 10 minutes the receptionist pick us up . Very smooth communication. The apartment was realy great. It was not only a double room...You will find more than you need there. A very polite lady prepared an early breakfast at 4.00 am !!!!, and drove us to the airport. Thank you so much guys.

The food was amazing in the restaurant and at breakfast. It was one of the best breakfasts ever, and we travel a lot. The main facility was very charming. Very nice staff.

The beds could be better, but they worked fine for an overnight. We loved our stay.

My stay at the Garder hotel was a true pleasure and a great experience.

Breakfast was perhaps less than traditionally expected but given the fact that it has been prepared especially for us at 3:30 AM, including various things as well as candles (!), was a truly pleasant surprise!

I liked it all, including the September evening view through the window which made a wonderful farewell from my beloved Norway, just prior to taking off the following morning. This only added to my Norway addiction and to my already high motivation of visiting your enchanting country yet again, the sooner the better.

A friendly , peaceful and comfortable hotel.

Location very good, just a few minutes from the airport but very quiet, surrounded by fields. Our rooms were in a separate building in the grounds and were spacious and comfortable. The buildings reminded me of an old style country hotel, such a pleasant change from the glass and steel chain hotels usually found near airports. The breakfast was excellent and very plentiful and our host very friendly. The hotel bus took us quickly to the airport. All the staff we encountered spoke very good English.

I can't think of anything at all. It was a perfect stay.

we used this hotel to stay one night before the flight, we expected some medium level at best but found it a very clean and comfortable place to stay The hotel is really close to the airport but the soundproofing was superb and we didn't hear any of the airplanes
