Ubicacion inmejorable, limpio y espacioso. Bicis a disposicion para visitar Ferrara, incluso una mascota en el jardin!

This place is amazing, a beautiful historic building with an absolutely lovely large walled garden (and very energetic resident tortoise!) As soon as you walk through the door into the large entrance way with piano and stained glass windowed gate you know you're in for a special experience. We stayed in the room on the ground floor which was very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful antique furniture. It also had a nice big bathroom with a good shower and quiet and effective air conditioning. It really is a unique place and me and my husband definitely want to come back. Ferrara is a lovely town too, very beautiful with a relaxed vibe and many interesting places to visit. Palazzo Schifanoia was a highlight and has a really nice cafe/ restaurant in the garden. Alessandro was a great host, friendly, helpful and always responded quickly to messages.

L’immense chambre, magnifique, dans une belle bâtisse, donne sur un jardin, elle est très bien meublée, on peut se faire café et petits repas, proche de tout, c’est idéal. Nous sommes complètement dans l’esprit de Ferrare. Envie d’y rester !

Location was superb. Not only was the street authentically medieval but also very quiet. Very close to the center of everything. Could not have asked for better. Upon entering the main door we were awed and thrilled by the authentic entry, and large stained glass doors that opened into the large garden, which contained a 100 year old apricot tree, an 80 year old snapping turtle named Cozu who was a delight even if he did not appreciate our presence (wear closed shoes in the garden). The garden had ample comfy seating and lounging, and a very old stone sink with running water. VERY charming. Our room had 100 year old door shutters, again very charming and special, and our doors looked out into the garden. Upon entering our room, we are so happy to see the size, cleanliness, storage, sofa, table and beautiful antiques. There was plenty of light.. The bath was super clean and very comfortable with large shower and good hot water. The room was also in original ceilings and floors. It was such a delight to wake up and return to this room in the evening. To nap in the garden amongst ancient walls. Do Not miss the opportunity to stay here. It is very important to mention that Alessandro the host was extremely responsive, kind, helpful in every way, and even got us a cab to the train station when we were having trouble getting through; an excellent host in every way. The bed was large, plenty of pillows, and comfortable. Italian beds in general are much harder than US beds, and by far this bed was the most comfortable we stayed in. Plenty of blankets (we were there in Oct). Our room had a breakfast pantry with coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and dishes and glasses, utensils; all you might need for a quick breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. Ferrara is fabulous. Thank you Alessandro!
