About this house rental
Located a stone's throw from the beach and a short walk to one of NZ's best golf course's; our 400 square meter executive home is the perfect place for extended family groups or friends to gather.
The private deck area in the center courtyard flows out from the kitchen and lounge, and is surrounded by landscaped gardens with ambient lights and water feature operated by remote control. It is complete with eight seat Devon furniture, large umbrella, BBQ, outdoor heater and hammocks.
On the west end of the home, the securely fenced, heated pool area offers another table setting with large umbrella perfect for afternoon cocktails.
Upstairs is a large rumpus room with Pool Table/Table Tennis Table, Darts Board, Bar Leaner, couches, desk/chair and views of Kapiti Island. The more formal downstairs lounge has large flat screen smart TV with Netflix and Sky and a gas fire.
The designer kitchen is perfect for entertaining and boasts a scullery with second wine fridge, second dishwasher and second oven. You will find most of the essential items in the kitchen - just replace what you use. The house is open plan with four sets of sliding doors opening to deck/bbq area and another two sets open to the pool area.
The house has four bedrooms: Single Bed plus trundle in a single sunny bedroom upstairs that has sliding door to a deck and sea views. Note - this deck is NOT suitable for children.
The sunny Queen bedroom downstairs looks out onto the pool area, it has own wash basin/vanity and is adjacent to the main bathroom with a bath, toilet, vanity, and shower.
Another large bedroom contains two King Single beds and is also adjacent to main bathroom.
Super King Studio: The pool side super king bedroom is a self-contained flat complete with kitchenette, luxurious ensuite bathroom with Hot Springs Spa pool, and private deck area opening onto a solar-heated outdoor pool. It is accessible from the house, but also has separate access down the side of the house. (This is available all year for min two nights, but only when the entire house is not booked.)
Top quality bedding supplied with feather duvets and quality cotton sheets. Towels, table cloths, tea towels all supplied. Some beach/pool towels available - but if you could bring your own.

What a wonderful property for our family holiday! Exceeded our expectations in all areas, the pool was a definite highlight and made it hard to motivate ourselves to wander down to the lovely local beach!
The house has absolutely everything you could need or want and made for a stress free, relaxing holiday. There are plenty of spaces to spread out and enjoy at different times of the day and in the evenings and it suited our multi-generational group perfectly!
Tracey & Niel are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic time is had by all, thank you so much!

The house and pool were so lovely we barely left it during our week stay. So many different areas to relax and read. The hammocks were a hit with the girls. The outside dining area was beautiful and sheltered with a patio heater to extend our outside time. The temperature of the pool meant the whole family spent so much time playing together. Tracey kept up helpful contact so we could find everything we needed. We're spoilt for any future holidays.

This is a really great property for a family holiday. In addition to the number of bedrooms there are all sorts of spaces – indoor and out – to get together or just to enjoy your own quiet time. It is incredibly well set up with facilities, appliances and homeware which make for an effortless and enjoyable stay – the heated pool and spa being the icing on the cake. There are comprehensive instructions for operating appliances, wifi, refuse collection etc. but if you have specific questions about the appliances simply check out online instruction manuals for more detail. The property is a brief walk to the beach and local shops/cafes and only a short drive to the Coastland centre with all sorts of specialist shops, aquatic centre, library and cinemas. Easy communication with the owners and local manager. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay in the studio which had everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable weekend away. Super close to the beach and plenty of variety of places to dine at within walking distance. The studio was very clean and tidy. Thanks Tracey for your lovely welcome - and the offer of umbrellas! (We forgot ours!)
