Friendly welcoming and comfortable

Super breakfast and lovely home made shortbread. Very friendly couple made us very welcome.

Shame the bathroom was separate from the room But understand that the age of the house precludes this.

Candlelight Manor a beautiful place to stay

Amazing shepherds hut, comfy and adorable. Our hosts were fantastic and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. very highly recommended as a cosy place to stay. Fire pit, outdoor space and seating was great. 10/10

Visited Ivybridge for a Golden Wedding. This was an ideal place to stay, warm and welcoming.

A very welcoming B & B and a lovely quiet location. The hosts, Sharon and Steve, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked.

Beautiful home with comfortable beds, generous hosts and delicious home cooked breakfast!

We had such a warm welcome! They even picked us up after a long day walking the Two Moors Way! Our room was perfect and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely place to spend the night!

FABULOUS!

Beautiful property with excellent facilities. Sharon and Steve were great hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients.

Sue & Steve were excellent hosts, warm, friendly & helpful. My room was very comfortable & warm. Their full English breakfast is one of the best I've ever had.

Briefly difficult to find when driving at night with a local right behind you.

Country cuteness with an amazing breakfast!

Quaint location and lovely accommodation, the host was amazingly friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Made me feel at home from home.

Selected a double room and ended up in a twin. Not the end of the world as it was a last minute booking. But the host was super amazing, which made up for it and I looked at it like an adventure plus i didn't fall out of bed ;)

Lovely stay with lovely people!

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. From arrival to departure, I couldn't have asked for a better host. The breakfast was very good and was early enough that I was able to get to my work commitments on time.

A gem B&B! We highly recommend!

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They provided a beautiful breakfast and were lovely people to talk to. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us lots of ideas of places to visit.

There is nothing not to like! Shared bathroom facilities are not at all a problem. Lovely bath gowns are provided - a welcome touch!

Exceptional

Breakfast consisted of local grown produce and was extremely tasty. Just a shame the county has had a poor summer, ill be back to try some of the honey! Steve couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was squeaky clean, rustic old world design but felt right at home!! I had an electric car and it was helpful to get a boost from the 3 pin plug provided. Location is ideal, 10 min drive to Plymouth and perfect for my business meetings.

Very good

Very clean, beautiful room. Lively setting. Very friendly hosts who accommodated our request for an early breakfast.

Would have preferred en suite, so will book that when we return but the bathroom was only down the corridor. The bed was not that comfortable.

Location was perfect for meeting in town the next day. Breakfast was excellent & nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. very friendly & the shortbread when I arrived was welcomed!

Great place to stay

The B & B owners went "above and beyond" to make us feel welcome and to make sure that our questions were fully dealt with. They were extremely helpful. The room had lots of space, was above average clean , with a good supply of towels and fresh linen and the kitchen was fully equipped. The round table breakfast was great - food just right and a chance to meet the other guests .

We stayed in the ground floor apartment. The 4 poster bed had a good mattress and stable but we found it was quite narrow for the 2 of us as we are used to a king size( I should have checked this but it was a last minute booking) . Also the ensuite bathroom was a little tight.

Just what we needed 😀

A fabulous farmhouse where we we’re welcomed by the host Stephen. We arrived quite late and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb with homemade preserves and their own sourced bacon and sausages. The farmhouse was cozy and the bed was a fabulous size with spotless en-suite. Will definitely return if in the area again - great value for money.

Highly Recommend

The welcome from the hosts was excellent. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was superb with locally sourced produce. The homemade preserves at breakfast were so delicious- we brought some home with us. The home made shortbread on arrival was wonderful. The hosts ensured it was a Covid aware and safe. We will definitely be staying there again in the not too distant future.
