My second time here when away for work. WOnderful hosts, great breakfast, super comfy bed.

Nothing at all

Sharon and Steve were (and are!) wonderful. They took good care of us. The breakfast was lovely and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was great and very quiet.

The warm welcome from the hosts was exceprionally kind and generous. Nothing was too much trouble and they clearly derive much pleasure from creating a lovely holiday home. The location was superb with peace and quiet but easy access to all attractions and amenities . The cleanliness and comfort of the accomodation was above and beyond my expectations , such high standards deserve high praise indeed ! I will definitely be back .

Nothing to dislke. I did not want to leave.

We really enjoyed the location of the cabin—it was tucked away in the back garden, surrounded by beautiful greenery, which made it feel peaceful and private. The space was lovely, with trees all around, including apple and pear trees, and even fields of corn nearby, which added to the charm. The outdoor amenities were a big plus: we had access to a BBQ stove and a fire pit, which made our evenings really enjoyable. There were also sun loungers, a table, and chairs, so we could relax and have our meals outside while soaking in the natural surroundings. A special mention goes to Barry the cat, who visited us a few times during our stay—he was such a sweet and friendly surprise! We also loved spotting a woodpecker that came by two days in a row, adding to the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. Another helpful aspect was the Tesco Extra just a 4-minute drive away—it made it easy to pick up anything we needed during our stay, which was very convenient.

While the outdoor space was lovely, we felt the cabin itself was quite outdated and could really benefit from a refresh. It had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout our stay, which made it feel less welcoming. A deep clean would likely help a lot. The kitchen area was particularly disappointing—it was infested with ants, which made food preparation uncomfortable. On top of that, the kitchen accessories felt greasy and not properly cleaned. Thankfully, we had brought some of our own essentials and were able to pick up the rest from the Tesco just down the road. With some attention to cleanliness and a few updates, the cabin could be much more comfortable and enjoyable.
