Sehr nette Gastfamilie. Zimmer ist in die Tage gekommen, aber sehr sauber. Für unsere E-Bikes war bestens gesorgt.

All the charm and leisurely pace of retro rural France blend with the hosts’ outstanding hospitality. On the section of the Canal de la Marne au Rhin cycle route between Nancy and Saverne, the village of Lagarde is an ideal choice; this lovely, old-fashioned inn is situated in the centre of the village, next to the church.
Bicycles can be stored in the old barn, and there is a lovely garden behind the house. The rooms are on the first floor, whilst the bar is on the ground floor. They serve excellent Meteor beer on tap.
The triple room is a decent size and has three separate beds. The beds are quite large, but the mattresses are a bit too soft. The bathroom is quite spacious and old-fashioned, but works well.
Breakfast costs 13 euros per person, but it’s really generous and excellent.
Very friendly, kind hosts.
Refurbishing the FF&E in the triple room could make a big difference in comfort.
