Nestled on the east side of The Lookout facing downtown Chelan, this Vineyard home is enhanced by east-facing vistas that capture the morning sun and views of the lake and neighboring vineyards. This 2,600-square foot, 3-story, 3-bedroom vacation home sleeps 15 people in beds. YHMAM is centrally located near the 70-slip marina, Lookout Park, children’s play area, large open field, pickleball court, outdoor fireplace, community grill, pool, hot tub, and beach cove. This home features a spacious porch fronting Vineyard Park, a beautiful and expansive park running the length of the Vineyard District. The main floor has beautiful wide plank hardwood floors, a fully stocked custom kitchen, a farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, a gas range, a large island seating for 4, and a farmhouse dining table that seats 10. The large open living room boasts an oversized sectional, two chairs, a cozy gas fireplace, and a separate game area. We also have a wall-mounted 65” TV and blue-ray player for movie nights! There is a ½ bath on this floor. Two sets of French doors open onto a wide, covered, wrap-around porch to soak in the 300 days of the sun, complete with Adirondack chairs, a dining table for 10, and a gourmet stainless BBQ and grill set! The home's top level features a large master bedroom with a 10’ x 24’ outdoor balcony complete with a bistro table and chairs to enjoy the massive view of the lake, town, and surrounding hills. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, side tables, large dresser drawers, and a wall-mounted 40” Smart TV with all the apps you need to watch your favorite shows. The master bath has a large walk-in shower, a huge closet, and a double vanity. The top floor sleeps six people comfortably. The top level includes two additional king bedrooms with their own wall-mounted 40” Smart TVs and large closets. These two bedrooms share an upstairs bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The bottom floor is the perfect place for kids or to host a party on game day. A wall-mounted 65” TV with an Xbox One / DVD Player takes over one wall. A massive sectional and ottoman is on the other side. The bottom floor also includes 2 full over full bunk beds with twin trundles and sleeps 9 people in beds. There is a ½ bathroom with a full-size front-loading washer and dryer complete with an ironing board, cleaning supplies, and all the beach towels you will need. We have thought of everything to make your vacation stay at “You Had Me at Merlot” as comfortable as possible. Additional amenities include luxury memory foam mattresses, board games, hair dryers, 2 cruiser bikes, and complimentary high-speed internet, as well as a cozy fire pit with an entertaining area in the backyard. Pets are allowed in this home and your pooch will find a food/water station, dog bed, leash, and poop bags awaiting them upon arrival. We allow two dogs under 70 lbs during your stay. Maximum of 2 dogs, 70 pounds or less, create sleeper, potty trained. NO Puppies! The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. We had the best family weekend here! The house was perfect, the check in process so easy, and the location was so close to downtown. We loved swimming at the pools and the marina. The community activities that happen daily are incredible! We will definitely be back!

Our extended family stayed here and it was a great experience. House was clean and well furnished. Loved the main for living space, kitchen opening up to the family room, comfortable for our large group. The porch was a beautiful place to relax, chat, read, and have a meal. The fire pit area was nice. The rooms worked well for our family, nice to have the full size bunks downstairs. An extra shower would have been helpful but we made it work. The shuttles to and from the lake were easy to get, stopping right outside the house. The lake area was better than expected, nice to have the chairs and umbrellas down there. Our family really enjoys playing yard games so having the common grassy area so close was perfect. We had a fantastic week and made lots of great memories, thank you!

Had no internet on Friday. Maintenance came out on Saturday afternoon and hooked up the internet.
All things considering, our stay was okay. Sorry, but as much as I like the Chelan area, probably won't consider staying at the Lookout in the near future.

We have been coming to Chelan for 20 years and five to the Lookout. Appreciate the owners of "You had me at Merlot" sharing their home. It was wonderful. Only items not working were the fridge had a small water leak and the fan in the upstairs bathroom didn't work. My only input would be to have check-in by 3:00 and allow for early check-in if arrangements have been made. Check out at 11:00 is perfect. We traveled 3 hours and arrived early, but could not get in until 4:00. That was a let down.

The rental management community and communication with them was great. The house needed a little bit renovation at some places especially furnitures and carpets. The kitchen was ok. According to the price range, tools can be upgraded. Animals are allowed and this requires deeper cleaning. Under the furnitures were so dirty. Overall was a good stay.

Our family decided to try a new city for this year’s family reunion and this property at Lake Chelan met every item on our list. There was room for everyone in this new, modernly furnished home within the Lookout community. We were delighted with the pools, private beach, convenient shuttles, and optional water activities like jet ski rentals. Each morning we walked to coffee shops within one mile of the house. We visited wineries, the farmer’s market, outdoor concerts, and shops. We had nightly swims, bocce ball games, s’mores and Pickleball tournaments. Once the kids were in bed, we chatted in the comfortable outdoor seating around the fire pits. This location has it all!

Our family decided to try a new city for this year’s family reunion and this property at Lake Chelan met every item on our list. There was room for everyone in this new, modernly furnished home within the Lookout community. We were delighted with the pools, private beach, convenient shuttles, and optional water activities like jet ski rentals. Each morning we walked to coffee shops within one mile of the house. We visited wineries, the farmer’s market, outdoor concerts, and shops. We had nightly swims, bocce ball games, s’mores and Pickleball tournaments. Once the kids were in bed, we chatted in the comfortable outdoor seating around the fire pits. This location has it all!

AMAHZING Place, Tip to Tail!

This was a perfect home for a long weekend get away in Chelan. The home is beautiful with great views and lots of outdoor space. It is also so close to everything! We had a lovely trip!

The house was not very clean, at all. That is where any negative side comes from. And no real indication if things were sanitized. General dirt, dust, and cobwebs were evident. For the $300 cleaning fee, and $100 pet fee - It didn’t seem like the house was at the standard of cleanliness as you’d hope.
