The house is faithfully represented in the photo. Inside it's nicely done with wooden floors, painted interior, up-to-date maintenance, good kitchen supplies, and a nice screened front porch so that cars passing by 50-100 feet away, can't see in. It's like an old country house plopped into an urban area, although the houses are separated more than an urban neighborhood. Nice grounds. A very pleasant house to be in, hopefully we can get back to it. It is not far front the center of Salisbury, so there are lots of amenities around. But it still has a rural farmhouse feel to it. Very friendly owner who was concerned about all the features of the house. We stayed there to go to Assateague Beach an hour away; a lot cheaper than beachfront property.

cute farm house w screened in porch. the property was lovely. it was perfect for our needs, sheets were high quality, we were in town for a sports tournament and it was 10 min away, we really enjoyed having a spacious house instead of a small hotel room. easy to get around. there is a great small pie company close by making small indiv pies, highly recommend (the ugly pie).

This is our 2nd time coming to EC’s property and I’m sure we’ll come again. The house is perfect for our family, and well located for day trips all over the lower eastern shore. Communication with EC is always easy. We had no issues and no issues at all, and the kids are already asking when we’ll be back :)

This was a great experience. The house was very clean and Edward was a gracious host. He was very friendly and his restaurant suggestions were great. If you stay here, you have to go to Goin Nuts. The food is fantastic. We hope to stay here again the next time we are down that way.

This house was perfect for our short respite on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. It is spacious, clean, super comfortable and the property owner, E.C., gracious and very responsive. We enjoyed the location in Salisbury, too, as it gave us easy access to the bay and ocean, as well as delightful towns and wildlife refuges. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely, extremely well-kept property with all the amenities yet the charm of bygone times. There is a beautiful yard, relaxing screened porch, golden wood floors, circular drive, and two sitting areas. The home is within walking distance of fast food and a drug store in case you forgot something. It was so relaxing that we hated to leave!

Traveling with my family and the host has great communication and friendly. House was spacious and clean I have a crawling baby and this was a must! Laundry facilities and dishwasher worked. Overall great older house. Wish there was a pack n play for my baby to sleep in for the master bedroom.

Everything was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect for getting around. There was plenty of parking and it was very easy to find. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the home + host, as both were incredibly accommodating. The house and yard are even prettier in person than they appear in the pictures. Very central location, quiet, and spacious. This will be our first choice in the future, when we visit the area.

This was our first time using Vrbo for vacation and E.C.'s Mabel Rose house was an excellent choice. The house is spotless clean, has everything available to feel like your own home, and most of all the nearby attractions of the eastern shore. Our favorite place was the beach of Assateague National State Park. E.C. is a great host and allowed us to use the outside water for our kids to play with their water toys. We will stay again at the Mabel Rose when we comeback to the eastern shore.

It was very clean and E C was careful to make sure we had everything we needed, including recommendations for nearby restaurants. We had a terrific time exploring the nearby attractions.

EC is a super host no question. Went above and beyond for us, built a fire for us to enjoy twice while we were there. There is nothing lacking in this very comfortable home. Very clean, plenty of linens, towels, cookware. Convenient to local eateries and brewery. EC takes great pride in his home and it shows.

EC could not have been more welcoming and helpful! He communicated early and often, did everything he could to be helpful with our schedule as we arrived, showed us around and was generally an awesome host throughout the weekend. The house is exactly as advertised and met our needs…it was a little far from our early-morning activity in Cambridge but totally workable (and we knew that in advance). He truly made it a wonderful place to stay-thanks!

The Mabel Rose is a quaint and charming home that is immaculately kept by its amazing host E.C. 4 adults stayed here for 2 nights and it was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed the seating out back and the best part was when the bugs became too much, we went to the screened in front porch. E.C. called the day before to give us his phone number so we could call him when we were getting close. He was waiting there for us and showed us around the house graciously. He never overstepped his boundaries but made it known he was available for us anytime. The house was equipped with everything you’d need for basic living and even had little things like salt and pepper. It’s the small things that make a big difference. :) The home was very clean and smelled great! And the cute dogs out back made the experience even more charming! Thank you E.C. for your hospitality! I definitely recommend the Mabel Rose!

RC meet us at the property to help us with the operation of the house. He was very friendly and concerned about our well being. The beds were comfortable. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The screened in porch was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the night breeze of fresh air without being bit by mosquitoes.. the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay again. Thank you RC
