Nestled in Porepunkah, this lovely house for $240 per night is a great option for your next break. Hampton Cottage Experience a charming country atmosphere at the tranquil Hampton Cottage. Close to the centre of Bright, Pioneer Park and the river. This budget family retreat has plenty of space to relax, unwind and recharge those batteries. Pets are welcome but please note that the property is not fenced. Hampton Cottage is ideal for a small family or a couple looking for a relaxing escape in Bright. This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group). CANCELLATION POLICY - FLEXIBLE • If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 7 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund. • If notification of a cancellation is received 7 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply. All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy. BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps 6-8 guests) Bedroom 1 - Queen bed Bedroom 2 - Queen bed Rumpus Room - 2 x King Single beds. There are also 2 x king single trundles under these two beds. If you wish to use them linen and blankets/pillows are provided on site and you will need to make the beds up. *All linen and towels provided. KITCHEN & DINING You will find electric cooking, a refrigerator, a microwave and kitchen cupboards well-stocked with cutlery, crockery and cookware. The dining table seats 6-8. There is no need to pack the gadget charger, just bring your cable, plug it in to the USB power point located in the kitchen and charge your phone, iPad or camera. LOUNGE With plenty of seating and a smart TV you will be more than comfortable in the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. WIFI is available. HEATING & COOLING A split system in the lounge area keeps the cottage cool in Summer and warm in Winter. BATHROOM The bathroom has a shower, vanity, electric column heater & clothes airer. The toilet is separate. OUTDOORS A quiet location with a large leafy front and backyard and within walking distance to Pioneer Park and the river. The cottage features a generous back deck with 6 burner gas BBQ and outdoor dining set. A firepit in the front yard is a great place to gather and toast marshmallows. You can access Morses Creek and the surrounding bike paths from the rear of the property. PET POLICY Pets are welcome but please note that the property is not fenced. To ensure that Bright Holidays can continue to offer pet friendly accommodation, please pick up after your pets. LAUNDRY The laundry is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board & iron. PARKING Off-street parking and a carport complete this holiday property.

This is the perfect holiday cottage for a small family, wanting to be in a quiet court location, with walking tracks and beautiful Morses Creek accessible from the backyard. The house was recently decorated to add a large rumpus room/additional sleeping space which was great.

Whilst this property was affordable for bright, it was in need of some tlc. Decor and kitchen ware was old. Beds are old. It was not well cleaned, dirty tissues, some random glasses and a strange puddle in the toilet area.

( just there is no yellow and red rubbish bins so we have to Cary our rubbish with use )

This property was comfortable in every way and suited our sized group. A beautiful Autumnal-Parkland setting with walkway down to the river. A child’s delight to play amongst the leaves and very dog friendly and safe as well. Excellent location.

Our stay was very satisfying, however I wasn't too impressed with the shower head. It wouldn't stay in an upright position and the head did fall off. It's clearly old and needs updating.Also we couldn't find a first aid kit in the property.... The property was mostly clean, however there were lots of dead flies near windows and mold in the bathroom.

The location was great, the garden was lovely, the kitchen was fairly well equipped - no sharp knives but that's pretty standard. The first night we ran out of hot water for showers, but we were very careful with usage and it was ok the next few days. There were rats/bats in the roof that kept us awake at night, my daughter didn't want to sleep in the top bunk because they were right next to her head in the wall scratching. When I told the agent she said definitely not rats, made me feel like I was making it up. She didn't come back with anything else. Except she did say it was budget accommodation so what did I expect ........ There was no linen, which we found out in time to bring our own, but there wasn't even a bathmat so the floor was always wet, no hand soap anywhere either. So very budget. But the location was good, right in town.

Nice location only a few mins from the main street. Great size for our family of 4. Lovely gardens.Only thing letting it down was the cleanliness, which I have flagged with the agent.

This was a great place to stop for a couple nights as part of a longer road trip. Great yard and enjoyed the walk along the river. Attention to a few extra details would make it even better. Our bus enjoyed the poker and triominoes, but a larger selection of games would help. More care to check BBQ gas bottle would help as it ran out before we were done on the first cook. Overall we'd recommend. Thanks for our stay.

Fantastic and quiet location. Great for kids with the river to explore at the rear of the property and large front/rear gardens. Fire pit was a bonus. Highlight was a Kookaburra, Parrots, Currawongs and Magpies all flying down at the one time for some left over strawberries we threw on the front lawn.
