The location close to the ocean, the ''place du village'' where the bread man comes every day. The terrace above the studio is also a nice way to enjoy the ocean view while having your breakfast, dinner, supper.

Nothing important except some elements could be added to the tableware and the table on the terrace which could be bigger.

Amazing location, cosy, comfortable, beautiful terrace and quiet. There's tasty restaurants near by Joe's bar and another by the pier.

The place is locate in a super nice area, in front of the sea. Nice terrace with an amazing view. It has everything you need, basic. It has AC, good because some days can be super hot in Madeira.

The place is basic. We had a problems with ants that contaminated all our food, wrote to the owner and she never replied. The main road to jardím do mar was closed from 8 to 18 so we need to drive 25min more in a super dizzy road to get to the place. Would be good to clarify this for the guests to know at least.

The location is great and it's incredibly good value for money. We had breakfast on the roof terrace most days. Lovely.

There were a couple of things that could have made the self-catering side a bit easier. There were no microwave dishes so we couldn't really use the microwave and there were no spare bin liners. A small clothes horse might have helped with drying our swimming kit. Also, the cable only had 4 or 5 Portuguese channels. Didn't bother us but it might have done if the weather was poor.

Nice and clean location with great and large roof-top terrace. Comfortable beds. In addition, Jardim do mar is a very beautiful spot on madeira. Very friendly host. We would have enjoyed to stay longer.

There were some ants in the room. The roof-top terrace can be observed from the nearby hotel's balconies. But it isn't a big hotel, so nothing to worry about.
