About this house rental
Two story cabin located on a point with water on two sides. It is located in a quiet area of the lake near Big Cypress Marina and Longview Yacht Club. The house sits on an acre of land with plenty of trees and privacy. Entire yard is fenced for pets. The house has large walk around deck, central A/C, open floor plan, comfortable living area with fireplace, 1 bedroom and bath downstairs and 1 bedroom and bath upstairs. The stairs have an above average rise, typical is 7"-8", it is 8 1/2" with the first step being 9 1/2". It has a fully stocked kitchen with washer and dryer. The dining table seats 6 and 2 at the bar. The detached garage sleeps 4 equipped with its own refrigerator, stove and bathroom. The deck wraps around the entire house with seating and fire pit. The large yard also has a fire pit with beautiful view of the lake. The dock is on the cove side and is great for fishing. The woods on the east side of the house are great for spotting deer. Wonderful place to relax, fish, enjoy family or play games ( indoor and out).
Historic Jefferson is only 15 minutes away with Antique shops, general store, Blackburn's syrup store, boat ride down the bayou, carriage rides,Jefferson Railway along with year round activities such as Ghost Walk Tours and Mardi Gras Parades. Caddo Lake offers boat tours that are breathtaking with the spanish moss hanging from the cypress trees. Shreveport, Louisianna is only 50 miles away with River boat gambling and live entertainment.
This is a quiet area of the lake, if you are not looking for a quiet stay this is not the place for you. Disturbing the neighbors will not be tolerated.

We have been staying at the property for a few years now. As always, we have a great time here. We love the peacefulness most of all. We were so excited to get to meet our sweet host, Shannon in person. She if the best!

Beautiful property, quiet, cozy with lots of nature. Quick drive to town for dining and shopping. The only thing missing was a hammock. Would definitely book again!

Property was private and accurate to listing, had alot of amenities for entertainment and recreation..my only issue was with some of the internet upstairs
