About this cottage rental

Nestled in Heacham, this attractive cottage for $168 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This super little cottage is conveniently located right in the heart of this popular seaside village and has easy access to local amenities. Extended and thoughtfully updated by the owners, Langley's Cottage is an attractive Victorian carrstone end terrace cottage offering very comfortable and well-equipped accommodation for up to five people. There are three bedrooms (double, small double and full-size bunk beds) on the first floor and a modern fully tiled bathroom on the ground floor. The addition of contemporary cottage style furnishings, a modern kitchen with spacious dining area, and comfy sitting room with a wood burning stove to light on cooler days, ensure that this holiday home has lost none of its cosy cottage charm. Langley's Cottage is ideal for young families as well as couples and friends and is a great base from which to explore both coastal and rural North Norfolk. Additional Information Because the stairs are steep and narrow (there is a handrail), the cottage might not suit anyone with mobility issues and toddlers will need to be supervised going up and down. There is also a travel cot available. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot. Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Although no starter pack or hamper is provided, the owner usually provides a small welcome treat on arrival.

This house was in a good location close to shops and bus stops into Hunstanton and kings Lynn, very clean and comfortable. The stairs were very steep for us oldies so something to take in to consideration, this did not spoil our few days away, we were just very careful.

Lovely House
Lovely House
Lovely Victorian house. Perfect for us and our dog. Very tastefully decorated. When we arrived the house was very cold, heating set at 5 degrees. I understand why but if no-one is staying before you, there has been no heat built up. It took a long time for the house to be comfortably warm. Could someone have popped in earlier that day to turn the heating up? Nice to have wine and biscuits, but the house details encourage "buy local". We used the little bakery, so maybe some bakery biscuits/products as a gift rather than the uninspiring supermarket cookies, that looked nothing like the photo on the packet. The bath u bend was blocked from the day we arrived, so when showering you were always standing in a couple of inches of water. It took about 15 minutes to drain away, you then needed to rinse the bath quickly but the same thing happened. We had a fabulous time and on the whole the house was lovely, so wished the bunk bed bedroom had been a bathroom, but that's only because I have to use it during the night!!!

Cottage was lovely, very well equipped and good central location for getting out and about. Big negative was cottage is located next to bus stop so on main bus route. Constant noise of buses pulling up and passing traffic. Also stairs were very steep. OK for me and my partner but feel older people would really struggle. Bus stop should be mentioned on property details. The positive is that if you do not want to drive and catch a bus the location of cottage could, nt be better.

Langley's Cottage was really nice, clean and comfortable, like home from home, every thing provided. Enclosed garden idea for dogs. Only down side was no parking on premises, having said that you could park along side property and off road, so was ok with that. Heacham is a good location for getting around north Norfolk. Would certainly consider Langley's Cottage when next visiting North Norfolk Never been disappointed with any of the cottages we have used from Norfolk Hideways - Well Done!!!!!!!!!
