About this house rental
Lavender Cottage is a beautiful, spacious 2 bedroomed cottage in the Norfolk coastal village of Heacham. Guests will experience a “home from home” experience with all mod cons including a dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine. Free WiFi. The comfy corner sofa converts into a kingsize sofa bed and there is also an additional downstairs toilet. The cottage has a small, dog friendly courtyard garden and a renovated beach hut on North beach (March-October) for use at a small additional cost. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TERRACED COTTAGE AND SOUND FROM NEIGHBOURS CAN BE HEARD AT TIMES.

Mid terraced cottage. TV noise one side, barking dog the other. Spacious lounge, dining and kitchen. Well equipped, however found dirty egg poacher in cupboard and some crockery cracked or chipped. Pan Cupboard in disarray. Shelving and cupboards should be cleaned. Did not expect to have to empty the dishwasher on arrival! It was full of utensils and glasses. Most drawers and cupboards contained an assortment of oddments. Wardrobes held personal items of host or previous guests…decorators ladder!!! coats, shoes, dressing gowns etc…Bathroom cabinets contained used toiletries including hair brush with hairs! Lots of wall hanging ornaments and trinkets around….dust traps! The sofa bed was most uncomfortable and heavily stained!!!! The visitors book asks that you show patience with the neighbour who is deaf but very nice, so please respect her!!! A note informing that, due to recent guests over indulgence with logs for fire…. You are asked to buy your own! The bin outside was full to the top, environmentally unsafe. The water pressure isn’t great for the shower. It felt like we were staying in someone else’s home!!!waiting for them to return.

A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Close to the beach, shops and a pub.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas and so clean! The welcome basket was such a lovely touch.
Our little dog loved the fireplace making herself at home right in front of it and we had the wonderfully relaxed Christmas we had hoped for.
We will most certainly be back!

We enjoyed a long weekend here, and found the house to be well equipped, clean and cosy. All the facilities required too. The village was lovely for walks to the bakery, charity shop, and the coast. None very far and were peaceful walks. Would stay again. Note: One neighbour's dog barks for a while each evening, and the other neighbour's TV is on loud until midnight.

The property was lovely, had everything you needed for a holiday home. I wish towels were included which would have increased my score. Although the house was generally clean there were a few places that required some attention. All in all however I would definitely use them again. Good location to visit nearby beaches and attractions.

We stayed a few days here with our dog. It's lovely and clean with everything you need. Beaches are fantastic for dogs and location wise, it's in a quiet little village. Thumbs up and thank you.

The cottage was very comfortable, and the decor was of a very high standard. Very clean throughout and extremely comfortable. We were able to park our Qashqai during the day and parked round the corner at night as plenty of street parking. The West Norfolk pub serves great food but you must book.RSPB Titchwell Marsh is well worth a visit as is Brancaster beach to see seals. Sandringham also worth a visit as quite close to Heacham.

Great property. Has everything you need & more! A lovely short walk to the sea front & close by all the places you could want to visit in Norfolk. The pub at the top of the road (bushel & strike) is very friendly & recently taken over by a lovely couple & worth a visit. House is very cozy & homely , beds comfy & Joanne is always fast to reply with any questions etc. perfect little place to stay. Heacham it’s self is really nice too. You can walk to Hunstanton easy on the promenade. We will be re booking

The photos were very accurate , the decor was lovely and all the touches were so nice and very homely and comfortable, lovely welcome basket, locotated in the village within easy reach of many wonderful places to visit we had a grest time staying there, and would definetely go again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, some of the time with just myself and the dog, the rest with family. Place was nicely decorated and had everything you could need for a week's stay.
Although in the middle of the village, it was peaceful and I felt safe taking the dog for her bedtime stroll at night.
Also hired the beach hut for a day which was an added bonus.
Would thoroughly recommend.

The cottage was wonderful everything worked really well, was spotlessly clean and quiet.
Only downside was the parking, mine is a small car so managed to back in on a slant, a big car would have to be left over at the pub as it wouldn’t get in far enough to let other cars go by in the one track road

A charming,cosy clean little cottage in a lovely area---what's not to love. Quiet but convenient for shops,beaches etc. Would highly recommend it !!

A well positioned cottage in a small town with a couple of pubs within walking distance of the beach and coastal path. The cottage has a lovely new bathroom and comfortable, clean beds. Unfortunately the rest of the cottage was unclean at best and dirty in places. We had to wash up all the cutlery, cups, glasses and plates before use. The plates are old and worn; glasses and mugs mismatched and chipped. The cottage is also full of ornaments and pictures which need dusting and de cluttering.
It’s a shame as Lavender Cottage has so much potential to be delightful.

Had a great stay at Heacham the beach is walking distance and is absolutely lovely we took a trip to the vintage rally locally and made use of the local pub where we had a friendly welcome

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this cottage; however, they need to improve cleanliness of the kitchen and leave coal/wood if this is promised. The owner did contact us when we complained about the dirty pans and trays but only to apologise, not to put it right, which would have been preferable. The bedrooms were lovely and so was the bathroom. The little hamper was much appreciated. I wouldn’t return.

My daughter and i have recently stayed at Lavender Cottage and we absolutely loved it. Situated in a beautiful village and only a short drive from the beach. Brilliant for the dogs ! We will definitely be returning.

Lovely little property which is cosy and comfortable. I instantly felt at home and even the dog was settled from the moment we arrived which is unusual. The area felt very safe.

We had a lovely few days in this cottage over Christmas. The cottage has been decorated which made it even more festive.
The cottage is presented very well with all the amenities you would need to enjoy a great break away.
We had our small doggy with us and the garden was enclosed and very dog friendly.
Location was great with lots of walks and close to the beach.
We would definitely recommend.
