This is an absolutely amazing and beautiful place to stay. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen, dining and living area are perfect for a seaside stay. The view and the area are peaceful and very enjoyable. The hotel serves good food. The walks by the North Sea are so spectacular. I highly recommend this as your next location as you travel!

Great location very close to harbour. Host could not have been more helpful along with the couple next door who manage the property. Great visit to St.Cyrus beach with the dog although quite a trek to get to the beach but worth it. Fish and chips from the Quayside restaurant in Gourdon recommended.

Not overly impressed. Much room for improvement. Repairs needed, a good clean, more comfortable sofa etc. This is the first time EVER that i have not bothered to actually clean a property before i left. Will contact the owner direct witha few issues. However, Johnshaven is beautiful. The cottage is NOT for us!
