We liked the locality, very quiet, and idyllic - the lodge was very comfortable and cosy, the facilities albeit limited sufficed for some basic needs as the nearest shop is a good drive away. The Hot tub, was very welcomed after a day of exploring and albeit the place needs a good spruce up, it was very comfortable and well equipped with exactly what you need a ‘home from home.
Pure and simply just needs a spruce up.

There was a lovely unexpected welcome pack. We also had an issue with the wifi on arrival, the owner dealt with it and got it sorted as soon as he could which was appreciated
The lodge is in need of some TLC. It could also do with a good deep clean, the microwave needed to be wiped out and the over was filthy. We tried to use it on the final evening and it failed to heat to the correct temperature, it needs to be looked at.
