Nestled in Valley Creek, this charming cabin for $261 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The Ultimate Getaway in the Mountains ! The location couldn't be better to explore the High Country !! Restaurants, Shopping within a 10 minutes drive. The quaint little town of Banner Elk is 15 minutes away, Boone is only 20. Grandfather Winery is 5 minutes down the mountain. Stay on site to explore the forest with the adjacent Otter Falls Trail. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a 10 minute hike to the Water Falls. Ours is a true log cabin offering 2500 sq ft on three levels with three decks to spot deer, turkeys, fox....... The master suite is conveniently located on the main level with a jetted tub in the Master bath and separate Shower. The kitchen Inspires...... with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, open to the dining and living room and perfect for entertaining. The deck off the kitchen looks out over the back of the property with no other house in site. Grill your dinner with the convenience of being directly off the kitchen. Watch for early morning Turkeys while you sip freshly ground coffee on the porch swing as the sun comes up....Our personal Favorite ! The living room is nicely decorated in Leather furniture with Mountain accents. Reminisce in front of the gas fireplace with a book and one of our 'oldies' but goodies records. There's a desk on the main level to check your emails and work, offering 100 mg, fibre optic internet. The top level has 2 bedrooms, with one bathroom. The lowest level of Otter Falls has the Game Room, Laundry, and a separate Theater Room with Surround Sound and Theater Chairs. The game room is Abundant....... with a Pool Table, Foosball and TV & X Box gaming system, along with plenty of books, games, and puzzles. Step out to the adjoining deck to soak under the stars in the New, 6 person, Hot Tub or laze under the trees in the Hammock. The perfect end to the day can be had in front of the Fire Pit, toasting S'mores or challenging the family to a outdoor game of Corn Hole. Otter Falls Cabin is the perfect spot for creating lasting family memories with thoughts to return again and again. Access to the Cabin is paved except for the last eighth of a mile, which is a gravel road. Four wheel drive or chains may be required when there is ice and snow. Access may not be suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance.

We loved our time at this cabin. The amenities were very nice and we would definitely stay there again. There were just a few minor things that made it not quite a 5 star but if we could give it a 4.5 we would! We also loved the local area and hiking opportunities. It is absolutely a great place to stay with lots of things for everyone to do!

The house is decorated so beautifully. Its dog friendly which is fantastic and so close to everything. We love the Seven Devil's area. The house is nestled down in a private area over looking beauutiful preserves. Right near Otter Paws Trail, which was so convenient. Their outdoor firepit is one of the best I have ever seen.
Susan, as your host is so attentive and caring! If you are looking for a family retreat I would highly suggest this property!!!

This is a wonderful house, exactly like the pics and descriptions.
The backyard hiking trail to Otter Falls is a perfect way to start the morning.
This is the best outfitted and labeled house we have stayed in. . .each kitchen cabinet and each light switch is clearly labeled so there is no fumbling around.
There are three different porches to hang out on, and to watch the deer and fox wander by.
We can't wait to come back next year!

This cabin is absolutely as advertised and detailed by the multiple reviews I read prior to our stay. The cabin is highly amenitized with hot tub, game room, theater room and three levels of overall space (2,500 SF) that made all our time there quite enjoyable. As well being right near the trails to Otter Falls gave us a built in adventure we didn't have to travel to. My three sons and wife thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would like to come again.
I love the area as well up the mountain in Seven Devils, you are both remote from other nearby residences while also close enough to other homes/communities that you feel safe with the location, you have privacy here but are not out in the sticks so to speak.
Great stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had such a great time staying here for a week. Well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the front porch with plenty of seating and such a nice breeze The children loved looking at all the wildlife and catching salamanders.
Wish we could have stayed here all summer.

My family of 4 (me, husband, 14 yo daughter, 10 yo son) truly enjoyed this house! The location on the Otter Falls hiking trail was perfect-you walk right out the back door and in a few minutes you are dipping your toes into the cool water of Otter Falls! The games, pool table, theater room, hot tub all made for fun nights after our long days exploring. Would definitely recommend this house!!

We come to this beautiful cabin once a year around the same time. As usual, this home is amazing, relaxing, and perfect proximity to Otter Falls, snow tubing, and more. Expect to see us again next year!

The Family Fun Cabin was perfect! My family and I had an amazing time. Our 3 children are young adults now and we all enjoyed our vacation. We were able to do it all...Skiing, snow tubing, shopping, antiquing, restaurants etc... We especially enjoyed the beautiful Otter Falls and hiking around the property. We were close to Boone as well as Hawksnest , Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. The house was the perfect size for us and the game room and theater room were our favorite spots to hang out together. The weather was on the warm side especially for January so we missed seeing snow. However, we were able to enjoy a night by the firepit. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed for a great vacation and great memories.

Compared to other homes we have stayed in, this property had more amenities and was well stocked for cooking meals at home. The property was well lit and quiet. It had very easy access to a moderate level hiking trail. It was very well maintained and kept, even with allowing pets on the property. The owner had excellent care directions and set clear expectations for check in and out.

This property offers so much. The house is in an excellent location on Seven Devils. The Otter Falls is just down the path and is an easy hike to do daily. The house itself is cozy and easy to just want to hang out in. Love the fire pit, game room and the theater room downstairs. Not having a TV in the main den encourages being a family group by the fireplace.

Immaculate upon arrival. Only thing we had issue with was some of the 'smart' appliances. Old school here. Not into the fancy coffee maker nor thermostat. But we would def stay there again. BEAUTIFUL CABIN AND LOCATION! 100 STARS!

People come to Seven Devils from all over the area to hike to Otter Falls, but for you the hiking trail is just steps from your back yard. The cabin is also the perfect mix of seclusion and location, where you're only a few minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants but your neighbors aren't right on top of you. Our stay was amazing and I can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin.

Great location. Close to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Boone and Blowing Rock. Property is remote and peaceful. Having Otter Falls in your backyard was amazing. I think we hiked it everyday! Great property and would definitely recommend.

This experience exceeded every expectation. Susan was responsive and available . The cabin was more than well stocked, nicely appointed, very personal...felt like home. Tons to do whether you stay home or venture out. We'll definitely be back!!!!

Lots of nearby activities (hiking on Grandfather mountain and to Hebron Falls, zip lining at Hawks Nest, kayaking at Price Lake) left us wishing for more days, just to relax in this lovely home. And for those who may still need to work while away, we had no problems at all with the internet connection.

The cabin is just off the road so you occasionally get a little road noise, but very little. The cabin is located on a roughed-in cul-de-sac, but is the only property built so it is quite private from that perspective. There is a trail immediately behind the property that leads down to Otter Falls, with the other end being a parking area for the public. You will see and hear groups of people hiking down the trail to the Falls throughout the day but they are far enough way, and the trail is mostly obscured by trees and shrubs, so again it is still private.
One of the cabin features we really enjoyed was the hot tub. It is a full-sized hot tub and very comfortable. Also, this is the first hot tub at a cabin I’ve rented that will come up to full temperature when you set it there. Very nice!
The bedrooms were all comfortable and clean. I slept as well as I would have back home. The main floor living area was a very nice open area and quite comfortable as well. One bonus was that it did not have a TV in the living room. That made that space a quite gathering place where you could just sit and read or otherwise relax.
Downstairs are the “fun” rooms. A very spacious game room with full size pool table and a very nice bar with mini fridge as well. The other downstairs room is the home theater room with very comfortable couches, dimmable lights, and a very nice wall-mounted TV and sound system.
The cabin is located close to many activities. Just down the mountain you are close to restaurants and tourist attractions. I recommend dropping into Grandview Restaurant for brunch, and Grandfather Vineyard and Winery for a wine tasting; both are within a mile of the turn to the neighborhood. Also close is a Food Lion and the town of Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain is a modest drive but well worth it.
