Where do I start? The location is so quiet and picturesque. At home we live on acreage so it was nice to spend a night out of a city centre. The room was perfect for the night stay. The nearby New Inn was so friendly and the food there was real pub food and hospitality.
Nothing. It was a perfect stay. We would have liked to add a few extra nights on but it was already booked out.

Lovely country setting.
Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom not the cleanest, shower sealant and grout was mouldy. Under the sink unit was really dirty.
Only two hangers on a row of pegs to hang your clothes.
Breakfast average.
Extremely hot, and only a fan to help but who can sleep with a fan running, would have expected air con in a place of this caliber.
Main door did not lock, it was broken. Had to put all our things back in the car to be able to go out for dinner and had to put a chair against the door to feel some kind of security during the night. Rang the out of hrs number but no solution suggested, Ideally should have been moved to another room.
Complained in the morning and a few days later was given a 50% refund, surely for inconvenience and customer satisfaction a full refund should have been forthcoming.
Overall a supposedly high end establishment only achieving a budget feeling.
Wouldn't stay there again or recommend it.
