About this house rental
“Brac Magic” truly lives up to its name. If you really want to get away from it all, this magical home is the place to be. It is on the Southeast side of Cayman Brac - the wild side - rugged and secluded. All you will hear is the gentle crashing of waves and the palm trees rustling in the breeze. You'll rarely see another person here, yet you're only a short drive to restaurants, shopping, the public beach and dive shops. On one side of the property is the ocean, and opposite, the majestic bluff towers above. As Brac Magic is on the windward side of the island, there are no mosquitoes, so you can sit outside in the evening without worry. The house is situated to take advantage of the cooling ocean breezes, and offers a shady spot to relax at all times of the day.
The oceanfront house sleeps 6-8 people, has 2 1/2 baths, wifi, air conditioning, BBQ and laundry facilities.
The master bedroom has an incredible ocean view, large ensuite, and king bed with great mattress. The second bedroom also has a cozy king sized bed, along with a twin over full bunk for the kids or for extra guests. The main bath is directly accessible from the second bedroom or from the main living area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and has granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge with icemaker and filtered water dispenser. The living room looks out on the ocean and includes a queen sofabed for extra guests. You will be entertained in the evening with a smart TV so you can access your Netflix account or enjoy our hundreds of DVDs. There are also board games and a library including books of local interest. The wifi has excellent range and works throughout the yard. There are ceiling fans in each room for when you don't need the air conditioning.
Outside, you will find covered decks for shade on 3 sides, the solar powered pool, a poolside half bath, and an outdoor shower. Swim, sun by the pool with a good book, beachcomb, or relax in the hammock under the shade of a large sea grape tree. Barbecue outside and dine on the deck while watching the waves. This is a great place for birdwatching, and the near total darkness at night makes for incredible stargazing from the pool deck.
There is a rinse station and drying rack for easy maintenance of your dive/snorkel gear. The washer/dryer are placed in the attached garage to keep the house cool and quiet, but are just steps away from the house. There are lots of little extras here including a combination safe, 2 bikes, beach towels, inflatable pool loungers, pool and beach toys for the kids, and a cooler you can take to the beach.

We had an amazing time at our stay at BracMagic! The house was beautiful and just as described in the listing. Excellent communication with the host. We were greeted at the airport and escorted to the house by the property manager. Couldn’t have asked for more. Can’t wait until we can return to paradise!

We had an incredible vacation at Brac Magic. The house is exactly as described and has every amenity needed. The property is well maintained and it is apparent that every detail was carefully thought out. Lynn was very responsive and wonderful to deal with, and Jeffery (the property manager) was also very courteous and thoughtful. We've been to Brac several times, and this was our first time staying on the Southeast end of the island - it's a short drive from most restaurants and stores, but definitely worth it if you're looking for quiet and solitude. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting the Brac!

This is a very nice comfortable home with complete privacy right on the water. If you are looking to unwind, relax and unplug this is the place for you.

We just returned from 10 nights at Brac Magic. I really hesitate to share this, because why would we want more people to become interested in Cayman Brac and this property? But, for owners Lynn and Geoff, I will. The location is absolutely spectacular. Right on the beach where we were always treated to incredible views of the surf, often with a wonderful breeze. The house was perfectly sized for us as a couple. As happens with any VRBO, there were a few hiccups, but the property manager was helpful and the owners are very responsive and eager to make sure all is well. One note for those who love to grill, as I do. The BBQ mentioned is quite small--a portable unit--so it is not really practical for "grilling" and full meal prep. Don't get me wrong, we very much look forward to staying at Brac Magic again. But it would be great if the property eventually came with a full-sized grill. The dive rinse tank and drying rack were perfect, again for us as a couple. For more than two divers, it might be do-able but I think it would be a bit cramped. Of course, these are relatively minor concerns within the context of the entire stay and property. It is beautiful, well cared-for, and delightful. But please stay somewhere else, especially in November and June. :)
