The location is absolutely lovely – no close neighbors, traffic or noise, just horses in the surrounding fields. Waking up to cicadas and horses neighing in the distance was wonderful, and at night it was completely dark and incredibly quiet. A truly peaceful and relaxing place.
Despite the countryside location, supermarkets and petrol stations are only about 5 km away.
The kitchen deserves a special mention. It is large and very well equipped with everything we needed, including a very quiet dishwasher (we brought a few extra dishwasher tablets from home just in case). Holiday rentals often have small kitchens with only basic equipment, but definitely not here. :)
The beds were comfortable and of good quality, and we all slept really well. We bring our own pillows because we prefer a particular size and firmness, but pillows and bedding are provided. There was also plenty of wardrobe space, with both shelves and room for hanging clothes.
The pool was a great size, with clear, inviting water, and we had it completely to ourselves. There were four sun loungers by the pool and another two on our terrace. The pool is a short walk through the garden, which only takes a minute.
Our host, Emilie, was lovely – friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with anything we asked about.
If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and private to simply relax, this is definitely the place for you. We had a fantastic stay and give it our warmest recommendations.
One tip: being in the countryside, naturally there are mosquitoes and flies. Bring an electric insect zapper if you have one. Ours stayed on in its charger overnight and worked really well against the mosquitoes we had missed before going to bed.
There really wasn't much we didn't like about our stay. If we had to mention one small thing, it would be that the cooker hood was a little temperamental at times and didn't always turn on straight away. We mentioned it to our hosts, though, so they may already have had a chance to take a look at it. It was only a minor issue and certainly didn't affect our overall experience.

Le cadre est magnifique, la maison est très mignonne avec un coté vintage. Elle est très bien équipée. Les propriétaire sont très agréables, accueillants et prévenants.
