Easy distance and drive to Burghley Horse Trials which was my destination.
Incredibly dog friendly and welcoming to my Labrador puppy.
Fully enclosed yards area to property perfect for the dog.
Could have done with more crockery such as bowls, plates, glasses, and basic utensils for eating.

Ideal location for Grimsthorpe Castle which is a 15 minute drive down country lane. Room was huge and bed was super comfy. Loads of parking and literally right next to the A1. Highly recommended

Good sized room
Unfortunately I found the mattress too hard in the main bed and the sheets were stained. The road noise was significant but that wasn't unexpected as it was very close to the a1 however the widow wouldn't shut which would have helped
