Tv in every room,comfy couch, everything was great apart from 2 issues. Staff kindly helped with oven issue.
Oven was complicated, there was water coming through ceiling from the shower.

Great location, roomy and warm in most rooms
We had to move bedside tables from the spare room as there was none by the main bed, we had to find lamps from the other rooms to have light by the side of the bed. The information sheet was very limited with no instructions for things like working the heating, oven or tv and there was no information on local things to see or do. The pub was only dog friendly in the bar and they couldn't accommodate a table of 10 that evening despite the bar area being empty all evening. There were a few light bulbs out in the accommodation, a wonky lamp in the living room and two of the radiators had missing/broken thermostats so those rooms stayed cold. The open fire had an empty log bucket and the coal bucket was also empty. These would have been nice to light the fire with in the evening. The garden was big but not dog friendly as the wall at the end was very low. There was a worrying bulging big stone wall in the garden that looked ready to fall. The sofa in the living room has seen better days and the occasional chairs looked very old and ready to be replaced. The paintwork throughout the house was shabby and ready for a refresh.
