Hidden Florence still exists! Villa Ventura is located in the most picturesque area of downtown Florence. An ancient pilgrim path takes you to Ponte Vecchio and the historical center in no time. Nestled just above San Niccolo, the oldest and most beloved district by the Florentines, you can truly enjoy the best of the countryside and the city. This luxuriously renovated three bedroom villa offers privacy, breathtaking views, terraces, gardens and a quiet hideaway. Erta Canina is part of historical Florence and the ancient monk path takes you to all sites in no time. The villa is located close to Piazzale Michelangelo and therefore it is on top of the hill, overlooking Florence. The gorgeous view of the duomo will make the steep path very worth the while. Alternatively, Ponte Vecchio is a quick taxi or bus ride away.
For longer stays please note that we require an obligatory weekly mid cleaning which will guarantee a perfectly cleaned home for you including a change of all linen and sheets. Please inquire directly with the owner for fees and cleaning schedules which will be coordinated according to your convenience.

The residence was fantastic! It was spotless when we arrived and were permitted to drop our luggage off early. It was only a short but beautiful walk (although warning it is steep!) to all the historical points of Florence. We traveled it at least daily. The neighborhood is quiet at night and very peaceful. The house is well decorated, comfortable, and modern in every way. The host was always available to answer questions and did come to greet us personally when we arrived. We will definitely return here for our next trip to Italy!!!

This property is amazing close enough to town without being in the middle of all the craziness yes as others have said there is a steep hill to walk to and from town we didn’t mind it much it at all we took our time and enjoyed the view. There is a cute wine window in the town at the bottom of the hill we enjoyed The house it self is beautiful modern and updated just know that the primary bedroom is on the third floor there is an elevator but they ask that you try not to use it unless it’s necessary we really didn’t mind if you are use to stairs it’s fine The host is very responsive with requests she helped arrange transport to and from the train station & the driver took us right to the front door Others have mentioned the guards outside at times for one of the neighbors we actually enjoyed having them there All in all we would stay at this place again we had no complaints

Beautiful Tuscan home in Florence. Our family had a wonderful Spring Break in Florence. The home is beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the Tuscan hills and has everything you need and more. It’s a short walk right into Florence. Karin was a great host and very responsive and helped us arrange a return car service back to the train station.
