Was the perfect restful and comfortable stopover from KZN to Cape Town, having previously stayed there on our way up to KZN. The staff were exceptionally helpful, even helping with our luggage during rain and snow! Breakfast exceeded our expectations, gave us a good start to a long day on the road. Accommodation was extremely comfortable!!

Absolutely loved our stay at resthaven. The owners were very friendly, and the facilities were amazing. Everything was immaculatent and clean. Highlight was waking up to the snow. This will be a return for us and remembering our passports next time...

The place is extraordinary—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What stood out the most was the warm kindness and hospitality of the staff, which made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be booking this guesthouse again the next time I visit Matatiele. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay
