Peaceful location, easy enough access to Hay and its festival and other towns and sites, Friendly owner who provided welcome cake and wine, Nice genuine pub in Peterchurch, the Nag's Head. Cottage had essentials for kitchenette and bathroom. Good wifi

Cottage small which we knew in advance. Lack of comfortable seating area.

We were given a really warm welcome, and provided with milk rather than us going into town to buy some. My wife thought it was one of the best-stocked kitchen areas she's seen. Location was really quiet, and provided access to a wide range of places to visit.

There's very little to say in the was of negatives - perhaps the only thing was the details of the garden on the site were just a little misleading (although this was accessible, it wasn't something you could see from inside the property).

We had an amazing stay in this delightful converted cow shed. Super clean and super cosy. Our host Carol was simply marvellous and such fun. we of course cannot forget Rosie the donkey who we treated to a little bit of carrot every morning and night. It was truly idyllic to hear Rosie calling out in the morning and evening, much better than a rooster any day of the week. Ted the Airedale terrier was gorgeous too and so super friendly. However, without a doubt our host Carol made what was for us a period of work the most delightful holiday cottage renting experience we have ever had.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

Cosy country cottage in lovely quiet location. Perfect for a relaxing tranquil break. Clean and tidy with everything we needed for our holiday. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful without being over-bearing.
