Bathroom and hot water system badly need updating, garden was very overgrown some of the bushes were dead and some were diseased with sticky stuff we couldn't park in the parking place.

Perfect holiday in a lovely villa!
Wow! This was such a lovely holiday! We were so impressed with the villa's location - just a stone's throw from the beach and perfect for a morning or evening stroll to the harbour for a drink.
The villa was perfectly equipped with all the mod-cons you would hope for. It was especially nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher, as well as a modern fully-fitted kitchen. Upon arrival, the villa was in immaculate condition and had been cleaned very well; the token welcome pack with some milk, bread etc was also a lovely touch as we arrived late in the evening and the stores were closed.
There are many amazing restaurants around - Polis and in the hills at Kathikas were where we found our favourites (we have written the names of these in the guest book). The vineyard was a great way to taste (and buy!) some wine for the week, and very good prices.
We hired a boat from the watersports centre in Latchi and sailed to the Blue Lagoon - you HAVE to see this!
Overall, a really great villa with a fantastic location, very friendly owner and a holiday to remember! Highly recommended!

Charming villa a stones throw from the beach.
All organisation and booking easy and well executed. A beautiful and well maintained villa that has everything you need for home cooking, which we did on a few occasions. Lovely nights out at the habour, dining and drinking and shopping. Everything you need for a fab family holiday or a couples holiday. Thank you Peter for a fab holiday rental, would and will recommend HomeAway and this lovely villa.

We spent two nice weeks in Peters villa and have really enjoyed our stay. Especially the welcome package containing of toast, orange juice, milk and butter was very appriciated, therefore an extra "Thank you" to Maria :-). The villa offers everything you need for a relaxing stay including towels and a parasol for the beach, air-conditioning in each room and a choice of pillows (soft / hard) in the bedrooms. The villa itselv is surroundet by some plants and bushes which gives you more privacy if you sitting on the terrace. To the beach its just a one-minute walk. The communication with Peter was always very easy and we got quick response the every question we had. Summarized: we can only recommend Peter and his the Villa!

Lovely holiday by the sea
Villa Sara is in a great location in Latchi and has everything you need for your holiday. Slightly dated, but clean, well equipped and everything in working order. Lovely patio area with view of the sea. We especially appreciated the aircon (it was very hot when we were there), the proper freezer for ice, and the beach chairs and umbrella. It is easy to walk into Latchi to the marina for food and drink, and a short drive to Polis for larger supermarkets and the pretty town square. We had a beautiful late afternoon walk along the Akamas peninsula - it would have been too hot earlier in the day, and swam at least once every day. All in all a great relaxing holiday.

Perfect For a Relaxing Holiday
We have just returned from a fantastic stay in Villa Sara. Situated in a very quiet location 1 minute walk from the beach. The Villa is fully equipped with everything you need and is basically a home from home and very comfortable.
The location is ideally situated between Polis and Latchi giving easy access to tavernas, restaurants and shopping either by foot, car, taxi or bus.
On our 1st day the television stopped working as we were watching the world cup and I was personally quite pleased as someone who is not a football fan. However Maria and Peter arranged a replacement the next day, which much appreciated by my other half..
We have visited this area in Cyprus 4 times in the last 12 years and consider Villa Sara our best choice yet and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Excellent Holiday Home from Home
Villa Sara is a perfect home from home in the sun. Located in a quiet location but only a 15 minute walk to local shops either along the beach boardwalk or road, and a 2 minute walk to the beach.
There are good views of the sea and bay from the terrace garden. Flowering Oleanders, bougainvillea and bushes surround the back garden, giving privacy for dining and relaxing outdoors. There is also a pergola so you can always find shade if needed. The garden is well equipped with sun loungers and an outdoor dining table and chairs.
The Villa had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s an excellent TV package and the wi-fi was great for keeping in touch. Everything was well cared for and clean.

A lovely villa in a stunning location !
We've just returned to cold wet England after a week in Cyprus.
We couldn't have picked a better location than Latchi with it's beautiful harbour and stunning sea front walkway from the villa to the shops and restaurants.The views of the surrounding hills are amazing and the villa is perfectly positioned to enjoy the beach whilst affording privacy and security. Every need has been catered for in Villa Sara and the quality of the interior is beyond reproach.....immaculately decorated with a designer kitchen and a Wifi connection that is faster than we have at home in the UK.The panoramic views from the rear garden are breathtaking and the gardens are beautifully planted.The owner has clearly worked hard to make this villa a perfect place to relax and unwind away from the stresses of every day life back home !
We will definitely be going back to Villa Sara again !

Christmas in Cyprus - relaxing
Pleasant villa - close to the beach and easy walk along a paved beach path to marina restaurants and beach bars. Latchi is deserted at Xmas - which suited us! A couple of restaurants were still open for us to enjoy. The villa is well equipped- great wifi is a bonus. Owner Peter is very helpful.

Perfect place for relaxing holidays
really nice accommodation with modern features. we loved the evenings on our terrasse and the short walk to the beach. quiet area but not too far from bars and restaurants - the perfect place for relaxing holidays! We recommend this place to everyone who want a break from their busy lives!

Great place to relax
Villa Sara is located far enough away from tourism but close
enough to the beach to go swimming before breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped to make if fun to cook and eat outside
at the marvelous terace. We can recommend all people of height below 190 cm to come here to relax. Otherwise they

Beautiful villa in tranquil location
Villa Sara is a terrific place for a quiet and relaxing holiday - very well equipped with anything needed, a wonderful secluded patio with amazingly beautiful flowers, just a couple of 100m walk to the long and quiet beach with turquoise water, great for children (5 and 6 years). There´s an excellent working hot shower and a washing machine (which might be convenient when travelling with children...). The house was spotless and the beds were quite comfortable. Thanks also for the "welcome package" with milk, bread, butter and water!
In walking distance (Latsi) are shops and taverns, great fresh fish available for barbecue in Polis, just a short drive. For longer trips one should hire a 4wheel drive as some roads are not recommendable with normal cars.
We had a terrific relaxing time here and are planning to be back next year!

Wonderful villa in peaceful location
We were four adults and a 7 month old baby. The villa was perfect for all of us. You are right by a beautiful beach and we swam before breakfast every morning even though it was only April. Very good location for a quiet and relaxed holiday. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Wunderschön gelegener ruhiger Bungalow
Villa Sarah ist ein hübscher Bungalow in Einzellage, keine direkte Wand zum Nachbarn in zweiter Reihe vom Meer, nur getrennt durch Reihenbungalows und eine Strandpromenade, Kinder können direkt gefahrlos zum Meer laufen, ca. 50 m. Dort ist ein schöner ruhiger Kies-Sand-Strand, ein paar Meter Richtung Latchi gibt es auch mietbare Liegestühle, wer möchte. Wir waren immer höchstens mit 10 Leuten am Wasser. Zum Hafen ist man in 10 min gelaufen, dort jede Menge Minimärkte und Restaurants. Der Bungalow ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit W-Lan und vielen Insidertips. Eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit Unmengen Blüten! Von Latchi aus kann man schöne Ausflüge nach Paphos, Kourion und auf die Akamas-Halbinsel machen.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem, viele Schränke und Kommoden, Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Gemütliches Wohn-Esszimmer. Nachts ist es himmlisch ruhig.

Incredible beautiful view and quiet location
When arriving we were welcomed by the wonderful smell in the garden as well as a starter kit in the fridge. We enjoyed 2 very relaxing weeks with a stunning view on the sea, having a short bath, walking almost all the trails in the Akamas area, driving to Paphos and Lempa prehistorical sites etc.
We are planning to come back to experience more of this lovely place!

"If you want to truly relax then Villa Sara is the perfect choice. Surrounded by the breathtaking backdrop of the Troodos mountains descending into the Mediterranean Sea, Polis is the perfect spot to unwind and revel in a slower pace. The villa gave us that home away from home feeling; it is both comfortable and ideally located, only a short walk from the beach. We have two young children and appreciated not having to load the beach items in the car every time we went to the sea! A truly relaxing escape from it all, and a holiday we hope to repeat again and again."

Wonderful stay
We booked Villa Sara just for one week. This was definitly too short. Villa Sara is a perfect location. Spacious for two and enough for four. The terrace was our favourite place. Just some steps to the beach. We liked the walk (15 min) to Latsi and the restaurants there. The villa was clean und well equipped. Contact with Peter was very pleasant.

A Perfect Holiday and a Wonderful Honeymoon!
My husband and I married in Paphos on the 8th October and spent our second week's holiday/honeymoon at Villa Sara, which turned out to fabulous. The villa has everything to make you feel right at home. It was wonderful on the evenings we stayed in to sit on the terrace enjoying the beautiful weather and surroundings drinking wine. A short walk to the beach/sea with only a 15 minute walk to Latchi harbour and its many restaurants and tavernas. Beforewarned though as you'll need a torch if you go in the evening. If you walk along the beach front towards Polis you'll come across a camping site with small restaurant serving food and drinks and a perfect spot for sunbathing. Everything you need is either a short walk away or a quick ride in the car. We loved every minute of our stay in Villa Sara and hope one day to return to do it all again. Thank you Peter!!

Perfect family home
We are a family with 2 toddlers and found it easy to spend time at home and relax, walk to the beach or go to Latsi for a walk / eating etc.... We had a wonderful stay and plan to come back ! Thanks for a lovely week !

The location is fantastic: at the end of a holiday-village, near a cornfield, overlooking the aera down to the sea, just between two nice small villages with excellent fish-restaurants and a landscape with lovely hikes (see Peters informations in the livingroom).
The villa is well-maintained, we do not miss anything, has comfortable rooms and friendly interior, illuminated by many windows and big glasdoors.

My cousin and I really enjoyed our holiday on Cyprus at the Villa Sara in late May/early June. It was located away from the more commercial areas and very close to a nice beach. It was a quiet and relaxing place to be.
The villa was small, but very well appointed, comfortable, clean and airy. The welcome pack included a loaf of the local bread which was a nice touch and appreciated.
The villa was also only two minutes walk to the beach which was practically deserted at the time of our visit (we didn't miss having a pool).
We didn't have a problem with mosquitoes in the evening, so were able to sit outside or leave the patio doors open and enjoy the cool breeze without the need for air conditioning. The air conditioning in the rooms was efficient and quiet when used (mostly briefly before retiring to bed).
We walked to Latchi (along the coast path) and to Polis (inland slightly) on several occasions and found plenty of cafes/restaurants to choose from at both. The footpaths and roads from the villa to Polis are not very well marked - although we managed to find our way it was definitely an adventure coming back in the dark! We chose not to hire a car because we had relatives living nearby who took us out and about, but would recommend having one unless you are happy to stay local and walk or cycle.
We had planned to cycle to the nearby Akamas region, but although we had checked out cycle hire in Polis, sadly we didn't manage to get there - next time perhaps!
A boat trip from Latchi up the coast to the Blue Lagoon in was well worth doing. We set off early one day in a hired speedboat and the water was still and clear and perfect for swimming and snorkelling (we even saw some turtles swimming en route). Ski hire was also available. It was still early in the holiday season so there weren't many people around, but we could imagine that the number of larger 'tourist' boats in the area might increase later on. We wondered how the turtles would fare then.
The owner was very pleasant to deal with and we would definitely recommend both the villa and area - in fact we would both be happy to return.
