We picked this spot for our first-ever visit to New Orleans, and could not have been happier. A beautifully appointed suite in a perfect neighborhood. I loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning, planning the day with one of the loaner guides to the city in the lobby. Our host Ray was incredibly helpful before we arrived and while we were there, giving us advice on how to get around town, what to see. She lent us camp chairs for the Blues & BBQ Festival we spent the day at. Bed was comfy, continental breakfast simple but nicely done.
The 19th-century house is beautiful, high ceilings, however plumbing was a later addition. Great clawfoot tub but for larger people the rest of the space could be a bit tight.

Great to have a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Loved the balcony access!! Very easy to find and close by for or Uber to many attractions, restaurants and shopping.

This is a long overdue review. My dude and I stayed here during the historic snowstorm in January where a record-breaking 10" of snow shut down the whole city. The owners made sure we had food to survive (their own home cooked meal), plus scouted out any restaurants that were open in the aftermath of the storm within walking distance of the b&b. They checked in on us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and kept the ice cleared from the entrance so we could come and go. Very welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in spite of the wild weather.
All was perfect!
