About this house rental
The house is located in Aberdovey village. It's on the sea front and is south facing, benefiting from extensive views of the Dovey estuary and hills to the front of the house and to a small beach. The village of Aberdovey has many pleasant shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes, and is about 400 yards from the property. Aberdovey was voted the third best place to live in the whole of the UK in a recent TV programme. There is a 5 mile length of golden beach adjacent the village which stretches to the village of Tywyn. Many water activities are available including sailing, fishing (including charter boats), wind surfing, and kite surfing. Other activities include walking, bird watching, pitch and putt, tennis, and bowls. Aberdovey championship links golf course is about a mile from the house, and visitors are made very welcome. The award winning Penhelig Arms hotel is about 100 yards away from Morlais, and is famous for its sea food. Very well appointed. There was even a dishwasher which hadn't been mentioned. The weather was much better than forecast, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and nearby walks.

The property was situated close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was well equiped with evetything you could need. The host was very friendly and accomaditing. Would stay at this property again.

Wi fi not great this end of town, so if you have a gaming child there life may be unduly impacted by the unstable internet for gaming (leave the gaming at home) š
Host was nice Michelle, answered queries quickly, but you do need to return the key by registered post after your stay.
Cleaning could have been better by the local company, as house was mainly clean, but the hosts havenāt been for a while (hence cleaning company could have cleaned the house fully)
All in all a good stay and would stay here again.

The house is in a beautiful spot in Aberdyfi, the place is lovely could do with a little bit of tlc but overall a great place to stay.

Great clean spacious accommodation for myself my husband and family members to spend a quality break together. We really enjoyed the lovely experience of all that being right at the forfront of Aberdovey brings, and a wonderful holiday home right on the sea front, beautiful views toošš

Location was great, right on the sea with great views and a short walk from amenities.
Bit difficult with older, disabled relatives as only way to drop them off is to park on double-yellows on a narrow bend, then move the car up the road to the public car park (permits provided).
But house was spacious and well furnished. Only thing we would have liked was a tumble dryer to deal with the wet clothes and washing.

Nice property, very comfortable and clean. Everything you need is provided. Aberdovey is a lovely place.
Parking was a bit of a pain to unload the car but parking at the car park wasnāt too bad.

House is really well equipped and in an ideal location. Itās a shame as hygiene levels of house could be improved , especially the kitchen , we had to clean out fridge to use as strong smell and mold in bottom of fridge . Due to this would not stay again

Aberdovey had something for everyone - the beach, sand dunes, hills, shops (especially the ice cream shop!), pubs, restaurantsā¦ I neednāt have worried about the parking. Most of the time our 2 cars were parked 30m from the front door. And the car park was close by anyway. This was our first holiday in this part of the world and Iām pretty sure weāll be coming back.

We had mostly lovely weather until the last two days and had great days on the beach swimming and playing games. I loved the view from my bed over the estuary! Being on the road was a slight drawback but we managed well enough with the car parking. Thank you.

From start to finish we have no complaints. We've not used this site before so were a little bit apprehensive but it was easy to choose and book a property. The property itself was stunning and in a beautiful location. As we only stayed for a short weekend break we didn't utilise the kitchen but it was well equipped and had everything you would need to cater for a large group. The owner was very helpful from the start and recommended things to do in the local area. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. It was a mix of old and new deco very spacious we had a lot of the older generation so down stairs toilets was great, loved the house and the owner was very understanding when we broke a item in the house which will be sorted. Can't wait to stay there again and hope we have better weather.

Great location. Lovely house - needs a lick of paint perhaps and a little updating - none of which takes away from the fun had by our family. Great set of facilities. Shame no Wi-Fi but we didn't die of boredom! Plenty to do and see. Main road and parking were negotiated well and without too much difficulty - road-users used to pedestrians on the road so safe enough. Beautiful views all around and lovely clean beach. Would definitely visit Aberdovey again.

Family holiday
We had a lovely family holiday with 9 of us (3 generations) staying in the house. It was spacious, the configuration of bedrooms worked for our family and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great in terms of proximity to the beach and the views across the estuary were beautiful.
We would have appreciated WiFi access and would have preferred for the end of holiday cleaning to be part of the package rather than having the responsibility ourselves.

We were a family group of 7 aged between 6&70.
We stayed here for a week at the end of July.
The house is lovely. The facilities are good, it had everything we needed.
The weather wasnāt great so we were inside more than we would have been!
It was a lovely 5-10min walk along the front to the beautiful beach.
Itās a lovely little area thatās very dog friendly!
Most of the shops donāt take cards, so take cash with you! If you forget, you can get cash out from the post office.

Great family holiday home!
We've visited Morlais time and time again. It's spacious, clean and welcoming. Beautiful views and a short walk to the beach, it's ideal. We love it and it has suited our family with an age range of 2 years to 83 years!
