The worst stay, unsafe area.

I booked this apartment for a family who are in between houses. They were in urgent need of accessible accommodation as the one member has mobility restrictions. From there the main entrance of the property there is an intense smell of smoke. The carpets in the flat have absorbed the same smell which was unpleasant especially for a child. There was an incident with two strangers trying to get into the flat which made the family feel unsafe and they checked out of the property a week earlier than planned and paid for. The incident has been reported to the police for further investigation. The host of the property was unresponsive when we contacted him for the check out, when he picked up the phone 3 days later he was challenging our claims for the flat being unsafe. The neighborhood is very dodgy and full of rubbish on the parking area and on the streets around. It’s the first time I ever had such a bad experience with booking.com and for that reason I will never book through them again.

Pleasant

Net connectivity and location were good

Dishwasher didn't work from day 1 till day 19. Furniture were in poor condition.

For the price it is correct but things need to be impoved

Place was clean inside. Flat well located and well equipped.

The bedding was really unconfortable, mattress way too thin. Outdoor parking very dirt. Once you arrive flat entrance difficult to find. Maybe a video of the arrival procedure could help futur visitors.

Cheap but inconvenient

It was considerably cheaper than other properties and the bus stop was nearby.

Someone tried to break into the main door of the apartment on the first night of our stay. Also the alarm panel kept on ringing for about an hour and the owner did not tell us the code to disalarm it. The handle of the toilet door was also broken when we entered the house. Also, it has been close to a month since our stay and the owner has not even refunded our 150pound deposit- he told us he would return it to us in 2-3 days after our stay.

comfortable flat, but several little things wrong and lack of communication with the host makes this just a fair to good

spacious flat, close to public transportation

not enough towel; no hairdryer; no doorknob on the bathroom door; dishwasher wouldn’t lock and leaked, so it couldn’t be used; upstairs neighbors smoke and it penetrates the flat causing all our personal items to smell like smoke as well.

Disappointing

Property has plenty of space for you to explore. The location is fantastic if you need to be close to Heathrow Airport. Easy access and there is a local shop for groceries and take away spots 30 seconds away.

Property had the lingering smell of cigarettes when you enter the apartment. The kitchen appliances need a deep clean (microwave and kettle especially). On this occasion there was no bathroom mat or floor protection from the shower spray. I was told the bath mats were at the laundrette and the mop is located on the top floor of the building (very convenient). Toilet paper was not provided and when brought to the attention of the property manager it was dismissed. Not the greatest of experiences but I survived.

Disappointing

It had a kitchen and enough space for a small family

Bed lines were discolored as if bleached. Floor was not well hovered. Room Smelt of cigarette smoke

Excellent facilities, clean and tidy and definitely recommend

I booked this property for work colleagues at short notice. My colleagues said the accommodation was very clean and tidy and had a nice homely feel to it. Overall, great place to stay.

We struggled abit to park our very large van - but this is not a bad reflection on the property.
