The place was off the main road up a narrow road set back about 600m from the beach. It was so quiet there when sitting outside by the pool or on the veranda except for the neighbours dog occasionally barking. There was a cheeky cat sitting just in front of the dog out of reach, winding him up otherwise he was very well behaved.
The pool was just the right size and in the sunshine all day. After the heat (35deg) it was still nice and cool to slip into or just sit around on the sun beds.
The beds in the apartment were comfortable and both bedrooms had ceiling fans.
There was an AC unit in the hall shared by the bedrooms.
In Avola there were some decent places to eat, we went to the "Miramare Sea Restaurant" and in town there was "Summeat" for a very decent steak. We also had a meal at "Vecchia Cantina Baroni" just outside town which was amazing.
We had to book as the decent restaurants get very busy.
Paolo was very helpful and we used Wassap to communicate and he responded in a timely manner to enquiries.
The apartment lost a few points because the electrics were not great. There were sockets in all rooms but the kettle was plugged into an adapter into an extension lead under a shelf next to the sink. Also running off this extension was the internet and some other device (lead went under the back of the sink unit. The kettle worked intermittently and eventually the adapter started smouldering.
This was reported and Paolo said he would sort it, (it was on our last day).
Also on arrival there was not enough decent sized cups for us and though it only took a quick text to Paolo to sort it out, we couldn't have that first cuppa on arrival.

Goede locatie dicht bij strand en bij mooie steden zoals Nota en Siracusa, schoon, fijne douche, prima zwembad, rustig, mooi en groot dakterras
-Dat de keuken een verdieping hoger is en dat je daarvoor de gang op moet, dus denken aan meenemen sleutel. Dit stond niet in de beschrijving. Keuken kan ook niet op slot en verhuurder is binnen geweest zonder overleg, dat voelt niet prettig.
-volgens beschrijving zou er een oven zijn maar die is er niet.
-inrichting en verlichting binnen niet echt gezellig

Lækker stor tagterrasse med køkken i en slags udestue med aircondition. Skøn udsigt. Kort gåafstand til lækker sandstrand. Mange forskellige indkøbsmuligheder i kort køreafstand. Fint og rent poolområde. Din kommunikation med værten.
Køkkenet indeholder ingen ovn men et fint velfungerende gaskomfur og microovn.
Sengene/madrasserne trænger til en opdatering da de er “formet” efter lang tids brug.
