What a lovely nine days we spent at Sunset villa. I hope we are able to go back, one day.
The villa is really spacious, inside and out. Lots of space and really cosy at the same time. Very thoughtfully designed and equiped.
Loved the hammock chairs on the roof terrace. Very lovely views from there.
The pool was great...not huge...but plenty big enough and right next to the living room/patio/dining table area.
The lower terrace has a barbeque....which, host, Ibrahim, helped to get going.
Ibrahim is really lovely, speaks great English, and will do whatever he can to make your stay a memorable one.
Highly recommended. A great holiday :)

Sunset Villa is a spotlessly clean and comfortable villa, with the most beautiful views all around. Ibrahim is the perfect host, very welcoming and always available to help if any problem should arise - he and his wife Karima were also kind enough to provide us with some provisions, fruit and water. The villa is well located in a small mountain village within a few minutes easy drive from Rethymno, the town and its beaches - as well as a LIDL! There is a really good taverna within walking distance - Andreas Taverna - don't miss it! A super, peaceful place to spend a holiday, don't miss the roof terrace, and if you have small children there is a very nice children's play area which you can see in the photos.
There isn't really anything we could criticise about Villa Sunset - we would be very happy to return another time!

Die Villa ist super schön gelegen mit wunderbarer Aussicht und dabei ganz exklusiv in den eigenen vier Wänden. Ibrahim ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er hat uns bei Ankunft mit Obst und Gemüse und einer kleinen Grundausstattung im Kühlschrank überrascht und war jederzeit bei Fragen und kleinen Anliegen für uns verfügbar. Die Familie ist sehr herzlich und die Villa sehr gut gepflegt. Die Villa liegt abseits der Touristenströme und sehr ruhig an einem Hang. Die Anfahrt ist beim ersten Mal etwas abenteuerlich (Google Maps navigiert zuverlässig), aber am Ende kein Problem.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die Taverne Andreas in Laufnähe. Ansonsten ist ein Auto absolut notwendig.
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.
Die Matratzen waren für uns etwas zu weich, aber das ist nur ein kleines Manko und individuell ja Geschmacksache.

Sunset Villa was so clean and a great place to be on vacation. The area is very safe and quiet to be with kids.
The scenery from the Villa is amazing and it's nice to spend nights at the balcony.
