About this house rental
Nestled in Salado, this charming house for $131 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Two-night minimum/Four-night maximum. Built in 2018 as a “guest house/dream come true” next to our main residence - we are located one block from Main Street. Short walks to restaurants, popular creekside microbrewery and convenient to shops and local eateries. Our Bungalow Oaks has an attached carport, and the main room has a king-size bed next to a massive antique armoire. A separate bathroom with a walk-in shower and antique vanity has all the privacy of home. The coffee bar has a small refrigerator, an ice maker, a pod-type coffee maker and a microwave. For morning and evening relaxation there are two oversized rockers on the back porch for bird watching and deer viewing along the dry creek below.

Bungalow Oaks is the perfect place to sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful town of Salado. The location is close to town and the accomodations have everything you need. The hosts are wonderful!

We loved the bungalow - so pretty and very comfortable. The back porch view was beautiful, and so relaxing. We also loved the rockers & loved watching the deer and listening to the birds sing. Great place to be relaxed and refreshed!

The bungalow is a great place for those that looking to get away and adventure. Salado is a very small town, but packed with great people, food, beer and entertainment.
The Bungalow itself is comfortable for 2 and all the amenities were spot on. Secure, off the beaten path, yet a simple walk to Main Street.
So get off the couch and book this place, it won't disappoint.

Bungalow Oaks was convenient, clean, and personable. The hosts included so many thoughtful touches to make for a comfortable stay. Great location to all things Salado, yet quiet and quaintly tucked away for privacy and serenity. We enjoyed watching the deer walk through the woods while having coffee on the back porch in the mornings. Thanks for hosting such a great place!

Property was better than expected! Clean, homey, comforting. The bed was so comfortable and the bath towels were luxurious! Everything about this rental was amazing all the way down to the deer and wildlife surrounding the property. Had no sighting of the owners even though they live directly next door but if needed, they had their emergency contact information posted. Anything you think you need, they provided including the most delicious blueberry muffins!! Such a quiet, comforting place to stay while walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Can’t wait for our next trip to Salado!

Property is very nice, clean and well kept. Decor was also very nice. We only encountered one minor issue. The shower lost water pressure. Other than that, a perfect, enjoyable time!

This bungalow is outstanding from decor to amenities to loveliness of natural surroundings, including a deer who calmly stood outside the porch gate for a photo snap. We heartily recommend this destination stay. Salado is a very enjoyable little treasure! And Bungalow Oaks makes it even more so!!

This property is emaculate! . So beautiful! All the little extra touches did not go unnoticed! Such a nice place to retreat too! Hosts are attentive and respond quickly! The bed is awesome! The decor is so cozy feeling! The blueberry muffins were delicious. The location to historic downtown was a bonus! The porch was our favorite thing!! Just beautiful.. All of it! I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will be back!!

Location is within walking distance of all the shops but still feels peaceful and secluded. Perfect to relax or hang out on the back porch. The owners are lovely people, and this bungalow is a gem. We cannot wait to visit again!!

This was our second stay and we love it. Just as good as the first time we visited. Clean, comfortable and love that you can walk to town but still feel like you are out of town. Will return for a third visit in the future.

Had an absolutely splendid time at Bungalow Oaks. The setting is beautiful, the ambiance is wonderful and Pat & Marsha were great hosts. Not a single detail was overlooked, from the soft and comfortable bed to the blueberry muffins. The decor is cute and cozy. The view invites you to sit in the rocking chair and take in all nature has to offer. It was amazing to watch the deer grazing off the back porch.

Our Anniversary
This was our second trip to Bungalow Oaks and we loved it even more. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and they had a happy anniversary balloon waiting for us. Pat and Marsha pay attention to the little things and it makes such a difference. The temperatures have been over a 100 for days and there was plenty of cold water, along with snacks and of course the blueberry muffins. We love the location and how close it is to everything!!!! We highly recommend Bungalow Oaks.

Convenience, everything you need and nothing you don’t. This place was absolutely gorgeous upon arrival through the white picket fence. Covered parking, beautiful porch and the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in away from home. Absolute perfection in every way for a couples get away.
