Nestled in Deadwood, this attractive house for $500 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Thunder Ridge, an amazing 4 BR, 5-BA vacation cabin with a private studio/game room - sleep up to 18 guests! Awesome great room with stone fireplace, 70” Smart TV, & great flow to the dining area & extremely well-appointed kitchen. We are across from the Deadwood Gulch Casino, the Mickelson Trail, & a short trolley ride to Downtown Deadwood. The studio has a private entrance, a kitchenette, pool table, 70” TV & more. Great location close to the Hills & the excitement of Deadwood. The cabin is it just 7 miles away from the Terry Peak Ski Area and is just minutes away to world class snowmobile trails in the winter and ATV trails in the summer. The famous Mickelson Trail is across the road, so hop on your bike or slip on your trail shoes and take in the beauty of "The Mick". You are also just a short walk to the Deadwood Gulch Resort and Casino, with restaurants, gaming, and a Deadwood Trolley stop all less than 1000 yards away. If your ideal vacation is full of relaxation or full of get up and go, Thunder Ridge has you covered either way. Thunder Ridge is easy to get to, but hard to leave, so book your stay today and come enjoy all that Deadwood and the Northern Black Hills has to offer! ~ This driveway has a fairly steep grade (roughly 10%). If you are traveling in winter, 4-wheel drive is required. If you are pulling a trailer of any kind, 4-wheel drive is recommended during any season because of the grade. There is some gravel on this driveway, motorcycle drivers should use caution. ~ This is the Black Hills of South Dakota, so be prepared to see wildlife outside. Make sure all doors or screens are kept shut to keep them outside. ~ We will not override our cancellation policy due to weather. This also includes lack of snow for skiing & snowmobiling, or too much rain causing muddy ATV/UTV trails. We have tried everything in our power to control the weather, but apparently there is not an app for that yet. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance during the checkout process during booking. Travel insurance can also be purchased after booking from 3rd party Insurors - just search for "Vacation Rental Travel Insurance" and you will find several companies offering this type of travel insurance.

We had a great stay at Thunder Ridge! The house has a great location that allowed for walking into Deadwood, easy access to the Mickelson trail and a trolley stop right up front. Highly recommend!

What an amazing cabin. First trip out for the bike rally. Great location in Deadwood. Absolutely nothing lacking in this cabin. Will definitely book again. The only negative I can say is the gravel driveway. It can be a little sketchy on motorcycles.

We have been in several rentals, this one was the best by far. Fully stocked kitchen including waffle iron, griddle, crock pot, insta pot, toaster, serving bowls, amazing baking pans/pizza pan/and muffin pans I believe. There was also a nice selection of spices in the kitchen and everything was labeled which was helpful. The bedrooms were gorgeous, living and dining room very spacious, bathrooms stocked with shower products. We had deer that visited us in the morning and evening, and a black bunny that made an appearance occasionally. We would definitely recommend!

Very nice house and overview of Deadwood. House was very nice, and manager was easy to get a hold of. Driveway is tricky when slick, do not pull a trailer up there with snowpack on the driveway.

Thunder Ridge has all the amenities one would need for a comfortable, pleasant, and convenient vacation location in Deadwood. The views from every room are breathtaking of the Black Hills lined with trees and snow. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with appliances and utensils. The master bedroom was large and the bed was very comfortable. We had a another wonderful stay at Thunder Ridge.

We stayed for three nights while attending a family wedding near spearfish. The home has a beautiful view from the deck and large windows! The house was large, clean, and the beds were comfy. The large livingroom was great for the kids to hangout after long days of site seeing. The house is seconds from downtown Deadwood but still secluded to where it is just your party. Plenty of room for multiple vehicles. I have stayed in other Deadwood VRBOs and this was the best one. Property manager Mark was great with communication of the homes features, locks, and location. We would stay again!

The property was amazing! Beautiful views & so close to Deadwood. Plenty of room for 3 full size pickups, 2 single trailers & 1 double. Large 2 car garage that we could park side by sides. Each bedroom had its own private bath which was nice. House decorated beautifully, fully stocked pots, pans, dishes,etc. Property manager, Mark was very nice & accomodating. Highly recommend Thunder Ridge & would certainly stay again.

The house is a very nice place and was wonderful for 4 families Very well supplied with all the things you would need. The driveway is very steep and gravely so hard to get up without 4 wheel drive. The driveway is not good at all for large trailers because there is a fence that blocks the way for a wide turn! So definitely check the driveway out before going up because there is no turning around once you get up there!
