Rosemary & Lavender Cottages are two elegant, fully equipped holiday homes in the Kent countryside, perfect for family getaways, wedding groups or peaceful weekend escapes. Each cottage sleeps 6, with 3 en-suite bedrooms, a stylish open-plan living area, smart TV, Bose speaker and fully equipped kitchen. Rosemary also features a 9ft (270cm) dining table that comfortably seats 12.
Guests can enjoy their own ice cream parlour, candyfloss machine and cinema-style popcorn machine. The ice cream is supplied by award-winning Taywell Kentish Ice Creams, located around four miles from the cottages. Cones, chocolate sauce, sprinkles and a box of chocolate flakes are provided. A vegan sorbet option is also available, so please let us know when booking.
For candyfloss, a choice of three flavoured sugars will be ready for you to make your own traditional candyfloss. Popcorn sachets containing kernels and oil are also provided, ready for you to prepare a fresh batch of delicious buttery popcorn.
Enjoy 2.5 acres of private gardens, mature woodland, a tennis court with rackets and balls, and a play area for children. Relax on your south-facing balcony or stroll to the picturesque village of Yalding, with its historic pubs and riverside charm.

Set at the end of a quiet country lane, the cottages are a short walk from Yalding—a beautiful historic village featuring:

The Greensand Way runs alongside the property, offering direct access to some of Kent’s best countryside trails. Yalding is also known for its three rivers, perfect for boating, canoeing, and fishing. At the bottom of the garden, through the woodland area, a private gate opens onto a charming countryside path that leads directly into the village in just a few minutes. Do bring suitable footwear—this path can become muddy in the autumn and winter months.
